"I would definitely not recommend this practice. Their main concern is money more over than patient care. In addition to the lack of follow thru for prescription needs. If you are expecting a call back then it’ll be either close to eob that day or possibly days later if that. It’s definitely common to let you go without medication over a co-pay or previous balance."
