"Going to AspenPointe did help me get on the road to recovery, but it was costly. I've lost several chances to move forward in my career because of them. My second therapist got me locked up in a place up north to protect her job, and their interpretations of my problems also contributed to my fiancé leaving me."
"Bonna in the substance abuse recovery program truly cared about everyone. Very very kind and genuine human"
"My Fiance/Wife Shauna Williams was on the Waiting List for Section 8 Housing was # 13 before both of us relocated to pueblo CO on false hopes of having housing/Home and off the streets. And behalf of our Severe Mental Illness along with Physical Ailments, She has been removed from the Housing Waiting List. We continue to run into dead ends. We are living with intense misery, stress, depression, severe anxiety, and increased trauma of violence on the streets while we face life, with very limited income from the Department of Human Services based on the claims of our Cases of Social Security Claims. We don't know who to turn to with assistance on resolving this severe issue. Aspen Pointe, along with Spanish Peaks in Pueblo do very little to no help at all to provide adequate Housing and not bothering to expedite the housing process to Couples/Families, leaving them stranded forcing them to turn to lies and drugs and possible death. In hopes that this reaches to the right people who are in charge and have authority over the funding of Aspen Pointe keeping them active and in operation. My Wife is afraid of getting back into Aspen Pointe once we figure out the next step after we take care of issues where we are located. The missions and shelters across the nation don't do much to help with aiding housing for couples and families. Right now, I have done everything I can to find possible resources to give us fighting hope of enlightment of housing to inform the courts that we managed to find and obtain housing and move forward to fight for full custody rights over our beloved Daughter Halei. Shauna has had many allergic reactions including the Marion House Catholic Charities in El Paso County, including the Springs Rescue Mission. This needs to stop. I pray that this ends and we obtain housing. The limited income we do have ain't enough to be qualified for low income housing, and waiting lists takes time that we don't have. All these agencies that continue operating under the support of taxpayers but refuse to cooperate with the people like us and countless others who struggle with Severe Mental and Physical Ailments that prevents certain people from being a slave to the system of employment. I pray that this message reaches all Adminstration of Aspen Pointe and the rest of the Agencies of Mental Health, any and all Organizations that continue to receive funding to remain in operation, in the Mighty and Powerful Name of Jesus Christ. How Evil and Corrupted can this world be. You people can choose to be different and cooperate with the mental illness in a better way. On the contrary, You choose not to. That Paycheck will support your Housing and Expenses, please keep in mind that those who are less fortunate, we are not being heard by anyone. And My Wife Shauna Williams has been removed from the Housing/Waiting list because she considered on contacting the Staff at Aspen Pointe and notified them that she was relocating to Pueblo having false hopes of obtaining a home, and we failed. Please I ask for whoever reads this, pass this on to anyone and everyone including the press/media for the intended purposes of finding someone that will provide assistance on solving this terrible nightmare of this disease of homelessness. With the enormous amount of funding traveling behind closed doors of the Middle Class and High Class we continue to struggle with severe poverty, and the situation only continues to get worse. I hope that this message will shine a light to people who are concerned and speak action against those who refuse to help but jeopardize their employment in return for refusing to find the available resources that we continue to miss on a daily basis. We are not getting any younger, and the people who choose to ignore this message, I Hope that the God of Justice, Mercy, and Love will help Justify your Actions for those who refuse and read this message and not take any action on providing hope and help in return."
