"I want to commend the entire staff of the Advent-Health Center for Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy Group in the Alexander Bldg. for exceptional, caring service and outstanding results involving my three separate physician referrals over the past 24 months. I especially want to commend Dr. Peter Van Doren for extensive physical therapy rehab following my hip fracture. After release from a rehab hospital, I was marginally functional. Following Dr. Van Doren's rehab PT, I am now walking 15 miles a week, pain free. What makes Dr. Van Doren unique is, when one is unable to perform an exercise in a particular way, his extensive expertise immediately shifts to a Plan B and sometimes even a Plan C as work-arounds to achieve the desired outcome. The bottom line is he always gets results! More recently, Dr. Van Doren treated me for sciatic joint pain and also bone on bone knee pain. Following injections by my ortho Dr., and a PM&R Dr., combined with their physician-ordered PT have again restored full functionality, and I'm pain free."
