"(Context: it's been almost a month since our retreat. I am 29 and my husband is 30. We have been together for 7 years but have known each other well for 14 and we have one 3 year old son) My husband and I's time with Neil was nothing less than life changing. Going into this, we were both hoping for the best but preparing for the worst and I can honestly say that we came out of it better than I thought possible. We are no strangers to therapy so if I'm being honest, I personally was a little skeptical that Neil would be able to change my mind that our relationship needed a separation but I went in very aware of the fact that I (by a long shot) don't know everything and was open to learn from someone whos been doing this for so long.
