"I had a similar experience to the above review and am disappointed in the process and the outcome. Kelly Garcia behaves in a way that would dictate her clients more as a 'To-do' lists, rather than people and any actual positive progress made during the course of therapy. If things don't go the way she would like them to, during and outside of therapy, Ms. Garcia begins to speak to adult clients as if they are small children and admonishes them in much the same manner. Completely unprofessional. Her communication is extremely poor and she has little experience with, or at minimum, poor therapeutic tactics, when handling high-conflict resolution, that involves alcohol, substance abuse, misrepresentation and dishonesty (to get one's way). In other words, being 'able' to see through individuals who lie in order to get what they want is part of her job as a psychotherapist. However, she would much rather not manage those types of cases at all, as it is too difficult for her to manage, but would surely take the fees in exchange for what amounts to unresolved issues and a waste of time."
