"I went to several sessions with Annie and was really starting to trust her and build a solid relationship. I loved the advice she gave and she always seemed like a sympathetic ear. Then, during what was approximately our sixth session, she asked me whether I had ever had an eating disorder. we had previously discussed my eating disorder on many occasions as well as my several hospitalizations and lingering effects that it has on my adult life. I took a few weeks off, as this felt like a breach of trust and I didn't like the idea of sharing intimate details with someone who would forget such a large part of my mental health picture. When I did decide to try and make another appointment, I could not get a hold of Annie. I called and left messages, I checked her website for updates, I texted (as we had prior)--i never received a response. I now have to find a new therapist and try and build a relationship from scrap. I am very very disappointed."
