"I can't speak for Jake other than marriage counselling but I would highly NOT recommend. My wife even apologized to me after leaving saying that he absolutely DID NOT handle it well or professionally. Commenting on their response below. This is the regulation he referenced. "Any person who has participated in any therapy conducted under the supervision of a licensee, registrant, or certificate holder, including group therapy sessions, shall not disclose any knowledge gained during the course of such therapy without the consent of the person to whom the knowledge relates." Again, I would highly recommend everyone stay far away from this clinic. Jake does not know what he is doing. He jumped right in as if it were out 10 session. No "ice-breaker" or anything."

Bottom line- my outlook and ability to overcome difficulties as life happens has improved manyfold over that time period, largely due to my efforts in therapy. Jake is, first and foremost, an exemplary human being who clearly cares deeply for his patients and his work. He is able to combine his expert knowledge of the workings of the human mind with mindfulness practice and looking deeply into the way we perceive our current situation, helping to reframe many things into a more positive light. I always leave therapy with constructive things to think about and incorporate into becoming a happier human being. What's more, Jake is not one of those therapists that just fires questions back at you when you're looking for guidance. He engages in honest discussion and provides solutions. Jake is the best therapist I've ever had, hands down. And I've been through many over the years."
