"There's a white board in the reception area that shows if a doctor is on time. When I arrived mid-day on a weekday, the dr. was on time. When it came time for the appointment, I noticed the dr. was now 30 minutes late. It was a slow day and no one else had come in or left the main office. After 45 minutes I was directed to a room where I waited another 15 minutes. The appointment with the dr. lasted 10 minutes, after which I waited another 10 minutes for a nurse to come in with paperwork. The dr. explained the procedure just fine. However the rest of the appointment and office staff unprofessional. After the dr. telling me they'd find a time to schedule the procedure that worked with my schedule, I was given one date and one time only they could do it in the next 30 days. That was fine since this wasn't urgent and it was summer, I was fine with scheduling out later. However if I didn't accept the one time they had, I'd need to come back to their office and resign the consent paperwork. No in 2023, they couldn't do that online. For a 10 minute procedure, they book the hospital room for 45 minutes. They couldn't tell me the cost of the procedure - for that I'd need to call their own Financial Office. (Don't they do this procedure all the time? Yes, but they don't deal in pricing.) I'd also need to call the hospital for their cost and the anesthesiologist for their cost. I learned from calling the hospital, that they'd need to book the room for 1 hour and while it's a 10 minute procedure, I was told the same by the anesthesiologist for their time. After shopping around for healthcare, I learned some GYN Oncologists do the procedure in their office and you get one bill instead of 3. Everyone in the office was so lackadaisical and acted like answering my questions was a real inconvenience for them. When I asked for paper copies of the paperwork I signed, I waited 15 more minutes to get them. This is not a group of people I want to trust with my healthcare."

"After having issues emptying my bladder, I learned I had an enlarged uterus that was pressing on my bladder, endometriosis and fibroids. I was referred to this office and had an amazing experience. This was my first surgery (I still have my wisdom teeth), I was absolutely terrified! The staff was very patient and kind and I never felt rushed at my appointments. The surgery was a bit more difficult than he expected. I spent the night in the hospital which was planned ahead of time. Dr. James and his NP were at the hospital the next morning to check on me. I haven't had any complications. I am very grateful for Dr. James and his team."
