"Very disappointed. I searched out a menopause specialist and had really high hopes. I am 43 and suffering from perimenopausal symptoms. She dismissed me saying, "you are not 51." Age really has nothing to do with perimenopause. It can hit as early as 35 and new studies show HRT is a wonderful treatment. Now I receive all sorts of invites for Botox and other cosmetic treatments. No thanks! Needless to say, I'm going elsewhere. "By far the best obgyn in Colorado. These negatives comments are not indicative of Dr Russels medical ability and/or experience, but more the person leaving the review and many negative reviews for lack of holistic perfection which is unreasonable and unfair to such a wonderful Dr especially if someone leaves a bad review bc they have an std or do not understand the amount of patients, surgeries, conferences and other matters of importance a Dr like Dr Russel undertakes to teach other Drs and leaders in the ob realm. I have had serious gyno problems since about 6 years old and started seeing dr russel after a seriously traumatic experience with the obgyn that delivered my first child. Dr. Russel has no egoism and is unsurpassed in regards to experience, level of intelligence and abiliTy . She delivered my second child and tied my tubes and out of the 7 obgyns I have had in my life only Dr Russel deserves one word review and this is my review for her- Dr Russel is PERFECT. If you have serious complications and need the best obgyn in the state of Colorado or perhaps the nation then Dr Russel is the Dr for you. Unfortunately most of these negative reviews were completed by people who will never need the best of the best and are pleased with themselves to tarnish the best obgyns reputation online bc they are either have a bruised ego themselves or were seeking perfection in a different aspect of her profession and office like her staff or medicines prescribed: Dr Russel deserves nothing but 5 stars and I know she knows she is the best but humility is a trait of hers that is also hard to find in an ob :"

"I strongly suggest you find someone else. After many years of care, I was "terminated" as a patient. In actuality, I should have terminated Dr. Russell. Sadly, she knew that I was easily infected. I had a year-long infection following a surgery that she performed. Even still, after having an emergency c-section, I told her, "I know it doesn't look like I have an infection, but it feels like I have an infection." She still sent me home and really did not check into my concerns. One week later, my incision was bleeding, and I needed another surgery, a wound vac, a PICC line, and I spent a week on the infectious disease ward unable to even see my baby! Still, I didn't want to try another doctor, because I figured that she would at least believe me! Then, two years after my second child was delivered by c-section (only after being required to sign a document that we would not sue her), she casually informs me that I will need plastic surgery from all the damage caused by the infection. She agreed to give me a 40% discount on my costs with her, because I am a self-pay patient, and she knew she had caused a lot of trouble and damage. Suddenly, out of the blue, I receive a notification that I am being terminated. Why? No real explanation, but they were moving offices, and could it be that I did not bring in enough profit, and my statute of limitations was over? I believe that is the case. Beware! $$$ is paramount!"
