"Dr. Bubier has been my gynecologist since 2006. I HIGHLY recommend her because she listens well, and figures out issues with professionalism and simplicity. As an example: for a short while she did not take Medicare Patients. I was over 65 and started bleeding (like a period). I had cramps, mood swings and was just plain difficult to be around. Since Dr. Bubier, at that time, didn't take Medicare patients, I had to go to a recommended Medicare gynecologist who suggested I put in an IUD to stop my bleeding. Since I was over 65 - I double checked with Dr. Bubier's office and was willing to pay ANYTHING, as a private pay patient, to get her opinion! After getting an ultrasound, per Dr. Bubier's, recommendation, I met her in her office. She listened, thought and told me that- 'lets try a simpler method, before any IUD's are inserted.' She said 'just stay off any hormones.' Within a week, I didn't have my period anymore and just spotted for another week. I'm SO happy and so is my husband who had to live through me having my period over 65! The bonus is that Dr. Bubier had started accepting my Medicare, United insurance so my insurance covered my appointments! I have so much admiration and respect for Dr. Bubier because of her personal and professional manner in which she serves her patients!"

"I should say Dr. Bubier came highly recommended. When I discussed my birth preferences, all of their staff (as you see a different staff member at each visit) indicated my specific preferences would be fine. My biggest ask was that I not deliver on my back as biomechanically that is literally the worst position to deliver in. When it came time to push she indicated that I had to be on my back. In the moment I couldn't really think and respond - that whole having a baby without drugs thing - so I just pushed on my back. They encouraged me to push when I wasn't contracting and to hold my breath and push - both biomechanically AWFUL instructions that can lead to serious pelvic floor dysfunction and rupturing of blood vessels. Toward the end of my pregnancy my blood pressure started to slightly increase and another physician in the practice pushed an induction to which I refused as I had no other signs of Pre-E. Their office was VERY pushy to induce. I went in every 2 days for almost 2 weeks and had all my values checked including ultrasounds and stress tests, which all came out fine, and my babe came naturally on his own. The practice did let me test my own blood sugars for 2 weeks instead of drinking the orange glucose drink. Overall, if you are looking for a more "natural" or "holistic" birth experience I cannot recommend this Dr. Bubier or her practice. The midwife that was there (she was lovely) left which I believe speaks to the direction in which the physicians are leading that practice."
