"I met Dr. Comneck a little over a year ago as I was seeking help with and treatment for my PMDD. I had met with quite a few OBGYNs before Dr. Comneck. They were professional but didn't know much about my condition and didn't seek answers beyond a quick protocol or response. I mostly got quick answers to a very complex problem. That was different with Dr. Comneck. From my very first meeting with her, she asked very good questions and desired to understand the complexities of my condition. She would lay out all the possible pathways and talk through the pros and cons of each. In addition, she would research and talk to colleagues. I knew I was in better hands than ever before. It felt like a true problem-solving partnership. There was not a clear pathway for the best way to handle my PMDD, fibroids, peri-menopause symptoms, and Factor V Leiden mutation. It required a lot of careful consideration and thoughtfulness. Dr. Comneck provided this for me. After a year of various treatments, we decided that a hysterectomy would be best. Dr. Comneck performed my hysterectomy, which was a bit complex because of the location of the fibroid. She was able to do it laparoscopically. I was amazed at how well the surgery went, how quickly I healed and most importantly, how much better I felt after the surgery, now with PMDD and fibroids behind me. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Comneck for helping me find healing on this very complex and difficult journey."
