"Quality, nice merchandise and very friendly helpful staff. Great prices on rentals and good equipment. It was super easy to rent cross country skis"
"Very helpful! They looked for every opportunity to take care of us in a fair and respectful manner. We will happily continue to give them our business!"
"Classic elegance. I have been shopping here for years, it is a gem in Logan. They carry higher end gear and clothing … It feels like Park City or Sun Valley or Jackson Hole when you walk inside…such a wonderful place here in Logan. They cater to a select group of locals and we really appreciate the fact that they are here."
"What an awesome store! I came from Salt Lake City with the crossbars not installed. When I left my house in Pleasant View, I knew I would be cutting it close for time. I purchased a ski rack from here about a half hour before they closed. They helped me install everything! They were awesome to make sure everything was placed properly. We had some skis for measuring; they brought out a snowboard to make sure it would work as well. So helpful. Thank you all for the help! Much appreciated."
"This is a review of the bike service department and not the retail space. I had The Sportsman put new brakes and a new derailleur on my bike and was not very impressed. It should have been a red flag when the salesman was shocked at how much brakes cost and assumed I couldn't afford them. 1. Rear brake line was routed on the OUTSIDE of the frame where it would rub between my foot and the frame, and more importantly created a loop that could catch on something. This line was also not attached to the frame when routed next to the rear wheel in a way where it was literally rubbing against the tire. Had to tape it before riding since I didn't have zip ties on hand. 2. Front brake line was given too much slack and was rubbing agains front spokes. 3. Brand new derailleur was pretty jumpy when shifting, and, small detail here but the cable was not crimped coming out of the derailleur so now that is going to fray over time. 4. Dropper post button was moved comically far away from the thumb. Easy enough to move this back to where I had it but just found this odd. Small things like this all add up quickly, and things like re-zip tying the cables in front so they don't rattle agains the frame are attention to detail I have always received elsewhere in the past. Makes me wonder what I am not picking up on. The 2 stars are for getting me out for a ride faster than other local shops could during peak season, but considering I'm taking my bike to another mechanic 2 days later I'm not sure it was worth it."
