"Amazing night at Mercury Cafe with a great assortment of tea and vegan options. Live music was excellent as well!"
"Prior to my solo trip to Denver I googled things to do. I found an open mic night happening at Mercury Cafe. I figured, let’s just go hear some beautiful words. The vibe was absolutely immaculate. I left feeling so inspired and creatively uplifted. I had such a good time at their Friday night open mic I went BACK on Sunday for their NYE open mic edition. Special shoutout to Q and Phillip for curating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I regret not performing but next time I’m in town I will be sure to make it happen. If you enjoy open mic nights, you will not be disappointed, 10/10!!!"
"This place has something for everyone. The layout is great for grabbing a coffee and doing work or catching up with friends during the day. At night, you can grab a fun cocktail, wine, beer or nonalcoholic drink at the bar and even catch live music, poetry, and more. The food is better than expected and the staff makes you feel at home. If this isn't on your regular's list, you're missing out."
"One of the most magical places in Denver! I come here as much as I can. There’s a wonderful atmosphere of artists, kindness, and welcomeness. They have amazing drinks, delicious food, and great acts! Be sure to buy food/drinks/tip/and tip your musicians as most of what is put on is free or extremely low cost. Jazz is EVERY Friday at 6 and poetry night follows after! They have a huge calendar of events. I’ve been coming here for years and am so thankful for this community and musicians! I honestly don’t know why FREE JAZZ isn’t packed to the brim every Friday 6-9!!! I adore it."
"Mercury Cafe on California Street is a hidden gem. The day we went, they had a Jewish band play some nice songs. Inside, they've a lounge space and offer nice drinks and food. Perfect place if you're looking to hang out with a group and nibble on something and sip a few drinks. I like the menu as it caters to vegetarian and vegan folks as well."
