"Faced my fear of heights and walked the lift bridge and into the tunnel. The view was breathtakingly gorgeous ! It was said they put Hristmas lights on the bridge for a great view during the holidays..I can't wait to see it!!"
"What an interesting part of history. I went there twice in November. One of the coolest bridges I've ever crossed. So much metal and detail to look at, including the 360 odd tons of concrete counterweights. The tunnel is about 1/4 mile long and with a bend in it so you can't see daylight when in the middle. I went through at about 2pm then several days later went through at midnight. It was so dark and spooky. Enjoyed every moment."
"This Bridge was so fun when I went with me family! There's nothing intensely special about it but it was cool visiting a more historic sight and taking our little kids through the dark tunnel on the other side. There's a little trail on the other side of the tunnel that we didn't go very far on cause it was cold, so we're planning on going back again to explore further!"
"Really neat place to visit but sadly, vandalized with graffiti and broken fences from people wanting to climb around on the structure. It's a cool place to visit though, I definitely recommend. It has a little boat ramp at the base where people can swim and the tunnel is nice a cool (temperature wise) walk through. Take a flashlight and enjoy a little trek."
"Its literally so beautiful, the scenery is honestly like something out of a book, none of there are edited, and they are so unrealistic looking. The sky is just saturated in blue, and its beyond peaceful"
