Reviews of Apple FlatIron Crossing
"Today I went to this store due to a iPhone 15 pro max eSIM module failure. I spent two hours at AT&T to have them exhaust everything on their end in an effort to find a solution. We went to the Apple Store at Flatirons to get help. We were greeted by a gentleman wearing a top hat and he got us an appointment for the following day. We were then told by him and another gentleman there is probably nothing Apple can do and it’s all the carrier. We explained we were at AT&T for two hours for them to tell me I went to the wrong AT&T! What? And how would one know the “right” att store?? We left knowing we have an appointment tomorrow, but extremely aggravated. We decided to drive to a Best Buy - they pushed 3 buttons and ran a diagnostic telling them the eSIM module failed. Why couldn’t this have been done by Apple and saved us the 1.5 hours of driving time tacked on to our day? incompetency?. Or laziness? I logged a complaint with corporate regarding this location. I have been an Apple snob for most of my life. I have NEVER had a complaint. The products are fantastic. The customer service today was abysmal."
"Went into Apple today for a technical issue/ possible virus. Marcus was absolutely awesome. He answered all my questions and was able to provide a solution. Checkin was easy and got in quickly even without an appointment."
"Maybe appointment online they were right on time being able to help me. Very professional and polite. Unfortunately it was unable to be fixed at the moment so I did have to leave it to be repaired. They’re supposed to call me back tomorrow or the following day and let me know what that’s going to look like if there’s any cost associated with because the test that they ran, Plemon airy does not say whether it is a software issue, a hardware issue, hard drive or what the issue is. So hopefully that will all work out."
"Oh my, what a frustrating experience at the Flatirons Apple Store today. I ordered a new Apple SE watch online to pick up at the store. When they brought out the watch it needed to be charged … ok, that’s reasonable. After 15 or more minutes the watch was not charged so the specialist exchanged that watch for another one. Same problem … it was not charged. Told it would take 30 minutes to charge which I was willing to do. In the meantime they said my iPhone needed an OS update so they started that process. In the middle of all that employees were switched. After the 30 minutes + the watch was charged and the OS was updated. Cool! Now all we have to do is pair the two. Watch won’t pair with my phone. Now there are 4 people discussing the issue - which took more time. I have an older phone and apparently the OS on the phone wouldn’t talk to the OS on the new watch. They said they could put an older OS on the watch but it would take some time. To say the least, I was DONE! I’m not sure why no one (genius) thought to check out this issue prior to making me sit there for 1.5 hours. I left without a watch. I have been an Apple customer since 2008 and I have to say this was by far the most frustrating experience with Apple ever. Grrrrrr. PS. I then had to go home a pair my old broken screen watch back to my phone. Which took more of my day. Grrrrrr x 2."
"We entered this store and were helped on getting a screen repair and needed to step out of the busy store for a few minutes to approve the transaction over the phone with the bank. The support staff member told us to let the check in staff know when we returned to finish our transaction and he would be over to help us. When we returned, we informed the check in staff that we were back and the guy told us the support staff member had left for the day. When we pointed him out and said “he’s right there” he looked very confused and frantically scrolled on his ipad trying to find his information. In an attempt to decrease confusion, we walked over to the staff member and gave him a tap to let him know we were there and he said “great i’ll be with you in a minute”. The check in staff then rushed over to the support staff and said “I’m so sorry man I tried to stop him but you know how guys like him are”. When he was told not to worry and it wasn’t a big deal, he turned around and went to the front of the store to 3 other staff members loudly stating that “clearly he’s never been in a store before” and “some guys just have too big of an ego” among other demeaning things in front of other customer. Regardless of this, I went on to make another appointment with the manager for an hour later to pay for apple care. Once this was settled I walked out of the store and the manager said that I will not be served in here and she cancelled my appointment. I asked why and she couldn’t tell me why, I told her this wasn’t right and that I wasn’t the only customer complaining another woman stated that this was the worst repair experience she’s ever had in her life. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here, the location in Boulder is much friendlier and professional."
