"Love this Property!! The office staff is very helpful always prepared to assist others and maintenance does the best he can due to circumstances and he keeps the property as clean as possible. Friendly community too for the most part!"
"Read the lease really good. We'll never rent here again more bugs then I ever want to live with. Parking not enough and snow removal never happened"
"Prairie Pines was my first ever home for myself after graduating college and moving here for a job. I highly recommend living here! The community director Katie and the leasing staff there is extremely professional and I never had a problem living there. They do an amazing job with how busy they are to keep the property clean. They constantly get cleaners to clean the hallways and buildings weekly after people and do what THEY CAN CONTROL. It’s sad to leave but I had a blast living here."
"-This apartment complex is filthy, some hallways smell of animal feces and are never cleaned. I witnessed cat feces in the middle of the hall for two weeks before I finally removed it. -Parking is terrible and terribly designed. Many renters have company trucks and the parking lot was clearly not designed with trucks(or snow for that matter) in mind. No designated parking, so an apartment with 3 tenants may have 3 personal vehicles, but use 3 company trucks for work, causing a parking space shortage, because their personal vehicles never move. -Rented garages are nowhere near the bldg you reside. I have to walk two complexes over to get to mine. There is no rhyme or reason to the garage designation. -Tenants doublepark, park in fire lanes, up on curbs or in front of garages, and I dont blame them. There is nowhere to park after working a 12 hour day. Some vehicles havent moved for weeks. -In the winter, snow is not removed in a timely manner, causing the parking spots to shrink, and large ice mounds to form. -Garages get snow drifts, which arent plowed, so they block access to garages and I have had to chip away at ice just to get into mine 3 times last winter. -The dumpster is overflowing on a weekly basis so tenants have no choice but to place trash on the side. Trash is constantly blowing around the parking lot. This property is a terrible place to live and I dread coming home everyday. I will never rent from Weidner again, or recommend it to anyone, ever. I look forward to the day that I move out."
"I moved in just a week ago so this review is based on a short period of time here. I chose Prairie Pines at the Ridge because of its proximity to work, relatively new construction, and fair rental rates. My corner unit is very nice, comfortable and bright. However is was not clean when I first moved in and there were several damages that needed to be addressed right away. Property manager Amanda has impressed me with her hospitality and patience with me. I’m kind of fussy about some things. She is genuine and has been a pleasure to work with. However she is often alone in the office and is multitasking while assisting me. This property really should have two people like her in the office at all times. A noisy neighbor with a large dog just moved in above me. So much for peace and quiet. I filed a complaint with Amanda today. She promised to follow up on it. Only time will tell what the quality of life will be like here. At this point in time my overall rating for Prairie Pines at the Ridge is three stars. If my unit was in better shape when I moved in I would give it four stars. Amanda deserves five stars, and I’ll give her six if she deals with the noisy neighbor issue in a timely fashion."
