Reviews of Denver's Dangerous Theatre
"My partner and I have been coming here for years. It destroys me to be shown time after time how this place protects and promotes predators while ostracizing anyone who speaks up about abusers. The owner has made it clear that she chooses profit over people and will protect those who benefit her, no matter how many people they harm. We can no longer be a part of a community that punishes morals and deflects accountability. Please make this a safe space again."
"An inclusive community of people dedicated to improv, experimental storytelling and good humor. I appreciate Dangerous Theatre, and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of their work in future events."
"I recently had the pleasure of attending a show at this extraordinary venue, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other! This theater may not boast the grand sets and lavish costumes you'd find on Broadway, but what it lacks in visual spectacle, it more than compensates with captivating storytelling and delightful humor. The cozy atmosphere of the venue added an intimate touch to the whole experience. It felt like being part of something special, where you could truly connect with the performers and immerse yourself in their world. The setting was refreshingly different from the typical shows you'd encounter at the Denver performing arts complex. One of the standout aspects that truly caught my attention was the incredible affordability of the tickets. Compared to other venues, the prices were beyond reasonable, allowing more people to enjoy these remarkable performances without breaking the bank. It's an absolute steal considering the top-notch entertainment and memories you'll take away from each show. If you're seeking an alternative to the usual offerings found in Denver's performing arts scene, this hidden gem is an absolute must-visit. Prepare to be captivated by unique stories, treated to genuine laughter, and embraced by an inviting ambiance—all at a price that won't leave a dent in your wallet. Trust me, this is the place to go for a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience that will leave you wanting more!"
"When I first came here, it was my first experience with anything outside of work. I previously never socialized, never went to events, but due to the atmosphere, the people, and the amazing staff, I find myself coming back to every event! It's a small Theatre, but it's quite comfy and it's easy to socialize with others before and after shows. Snacks are on par (especially since I'm a cheese addict), music is always great, and the shows I've been to thus far are spectacular! Definitely worth your time!"
"We arrived in the dark in an industrial area and were not at all sure what we getting ourselves into. Through a little entrance door is a great atmosphere, with couches to wait for doors to open, as well as snacks and drinks. Meatloaf in the Milkman were nice, but their skit included videos that were not the funniest... A+ for effort though... Zach Welch eventually made us laugh a lot though, and Nancy Norton was incredible, especially when she did her Gary impression. Overall cool place with a good vibe."
