"I was at the little gift shop/quilt shop next door to Mud Creek Hogan. Country Road 9 is a really cute eclectic shop and is a great place to pick up something special for the special people in your life. They have a small but nice selection of women's T's, sweatshirts, jackets, sweaters, leather handbags and duffle bags perfect for giving. They have giftable earrings, candles, cute kitchen items and so much more. They are also a supplier of quality fabric, sewing and quilt notions for the novice or experienced quilter. I'm a local and it's always on my list of places to recommend to anyone looking for a unique place to find that special gift."
"We’ve stopped at a lot of trading posts throughout the west, and this one takes the cake! Unbelievable, one of a kind, antique pieces from legacy Native American artists and craftsmen. The owner was kind enough to spend his time telling us about different works and the artists. We can tell the new owners truly care!"
"Loved this place! Such a fun place with wonderful people running it. We bought several things we love and some gifts for relatives. She even gave us a solo on the flute that made my husband decide he needed one lol. Definitely our favorite shopping place on our 10 day trip."
"Fantastic trading post & gift shop. Wonderful pottery for sale. Great photo opportunities outside. I didn’t think they were open on Sundays, but saw they were open as we drove by and glad we got to stop in! Turns out they are open on Sundays during the summer (we went in June.). Friendly staff and fair prices."
"Such a unique shop. Featuring lots of local and/or Native American artists. They stocked a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, baskets, blankets, rocks and minerals, beadwork, moccasins, dried beans, pottery, sand art, and so much more. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. We got in about 5 minutes until closing time, but he never rushed us and encouraged us to stay as long as we would like and we visited for a while. The building and exterior are a cool photo op as well. Even some cool old trucks for sale out front. Definitely worth a look."
