"So happy Amanda is back and running the show! She came out and had my heater going in less than an hour. Pricing was great. So glad our number 1 tech is back with altitude."
"Can’t say enough good things about the team and the service from Altitude Comfort. Several of my neighbors hired Altitude when they needed furnace repair service, and they were all very happy. I used them last summer when I need to have my AC repaired, and I should have left a review back then. Had to call over Christmas for heating repair and I spoke with Rose in the office. She was amazing. Had me check some basic stuff to make sure it wasn’t something simple like a tripped breaker that would have saved us the cost of a technician. I really appreciated that kind of thoughtful customer service. She got a technician (Mike) scheduled for us for later that day, and he was great. Very personable and explained everything thoroughly. Had our furnace back up and running quickly. Mike also gave us some helpful maintenance tips that should save us money in the future. I would recommend Altitude to anyone looking for a company that really cares about their customers and offers too-notch service."
"What a terrible experience that resulted in a no show with no communication. I called about 20 minutes into my 2 hour window, and the person said the technician just left and should be on their way. I called once again an hour into it, no answer, then I call after my window, no answer. I leave a voicemail saying they didn't make their window. They finally call back and said they'd try to find a different technician to get it fixed on that day, but then they stopped picking up their phones altogether when I would call for a status update. Never called back or showed. What absolutely terrible customer service. They also charge $100 more to winterize and dewinterize swamp coolers than competitors."
"I have tried to like them but at this point must say Beware! AC replacement started out good, price was right and Doug seemed efficient on the phone. Installation done during cold weather, they had to come back in warmer weather to finish and didn't. Talked to Doug at least a dozen times and got the perpetual run around, eventually he stopped answering my calls and will not return messages left. Money paid for the work not done should be refunded. We did use his Tech- Amanda to finish the job on her own time. Paid her directly- She is AWESOME, a talented tech for sure. Doug- why wont you call me back- seems to be a common thread in the reviews."
"Warning: do not hire Altitude if you value quality or level of service. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I don't want anyone else to fall victim to their horrible standards. I would advise you to check Yelp or Facebook as well where Altitude's reviews are more indicative of what you get. We hired Altitude to install central AC in our house a couple of years ago. In doing so, they drilled extra holes in our exterior (ones they didn't end up using), and caused water damage on our bedroom ceiling. We found out later from another contractor (who's great), that they used wiring that was not up to code, and failed to install a drip pan in our attic (also not up to code), and that missing drip pan caused the water damage in our ceiling. After countless hours on the phone and coordinating via email, altitude did come back to bring their work up to code (I think because , however they did not fix the ceiling damage and went non-responsive on us. Do not hire these thieves. You will regret it."
