"Do NOT go there!! Took my boat trailer into Iron Forge Trailers for brakes a couple years ago. They supposedly fixed the brakes. The next year I had the same problem (brakes were shot) plus a wheel bearing needed replacement. They supposedly fixed the problem and said I needed a new axle. They replaced the axle and said everything was fixed. I picked up the trailer and it seemed to pull hard, so turned around and brought it back. The brakes were on fire and it ruined the brakes, rims, hubs and tires. They didn’t want to work on the trailer after that because they said it was my fault for not stopping immediately when the trailer was pulling hard. Eventually they agreed to fix everything again and this time they finally found the cause of the brakes burning up. It was a bad coupler causing the brakes to continually activate. Cost me about $6500 or about three times what it should have cost me if they would have found the cause the first time. They also replaced the master cylinder. That was last September. This year I took the boat trailer to a different trailer place to get checked over. They said that the brakes weren’t working due to no brake fluid in the master cylinder! They also found kinked brake lines and a leaking seal in the master cylinder! (Supposedly new last September from Iron Forge Trailers) Do not under any circumstances go to Iron Forge Trailers unless you want them to really screw up your trailer!"
