"On a recent evening, I discovered that my water heater had burst and was leaking. It had flooded my basement floor with a half inch of water. I turned off the inlet valve to the heater, but the leak continued. I called Plumb Pros for assistance. They couldn’t send anyone since it was after hours, but said they would have someone come out the next morning. In the meantime, I turned off the water supply to my home to try to stop the leak. The next morning, Andres, the Plumb Pro technician arrived. He looked at my old water heater and agreed that it needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate of $4550.00 for the job. That seemed awfully high to me since I thought that new water heaters could be had for less than $1,000.00, but I didn’t know how long it might take me to shop for another water heater and someone to install it. Since I had no water in my house and my basement was continuing to flood, I agreed to let him do the job. I must say that Andres was very courteous and professional and had the new water heater completed by that afternoon as promised. I have no complaints about the service. However, I have since had the opportunity to check prices for water heaters in the area and have found that the unit Plumb Pros sold me only costs around $750.00. That means they charged me $3,800.00 just to install it! I think that’s way out of line. I never would have used Plumb Pros had my circumstances been different, but I certainly won’t be using them in the future."
