"Jason built me a commercial building for my salon business. He accomplished everything I needed. Our building is energy efficient, with all the latest technology, a realistic cost, finished work in a timely manner. He completed our building in 6 months. move in ready. I will hire Jason again. His craftmanship and building supplies used is top notch. The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early and were willing to reschedule the final walkthrough multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out great! I see previous reviews posted here that are not very good reviews. But I sure did not experience any of the accusations listed here. Foundational Rock always communicated with us. We worked through decisions that needed to be made. All construction cost was pretty clear and standard for today's prices. Jason even made trip to other areas to cut cost on certain supplies. Inflation was an issues that had to be adjusted for but it everything worked out in the end and we are so very happy! Thank you Foundational Rock LLC!"
"If you want someone who gives one price and then raises it 300%, hire Jason. If you want someone that does not return phone calls or text messages, hire Jason. If you want someone you can trust, does a truthful estimate and then does not change the amount -- he is NOT your man. We got an estimate of $400k on a house. One year later it was over a million. He has no concept of honesty or pricing. He lied, he connived, and he totally misled us for over a year on our dream home. Now someone else has to pick up his mess. I would not hire this Cowboy contractor if he reduced his price tomorrow. Way in over his head and dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to dealing with people and current prices. Stay FAR AWAY."
"I can't say enough great things about Foundational Rock. Jason was very particular on what he was doing to make sure that everything was done correctly while replacing my roof, hot water heater, and a couple other plumbing things that I needed done. He answered any questions that I asked him before, during, and after the job was done. Jason made sure that everything was picked up at the end of each day leaving my property clean and not cluttered with stuff from doing the project. Before saying that the roof was done he made sure that I was completely satisfied with the job he did making me feel like he has a very reputable and professional business, I would definitely have him come do any other projects that I need to have done in the future!"
"Jason and his crew came and got the job done in a great time. He communicated very well with me. Went though the details of what was wrong with the roof and how we can prevent any leaks from happening in the future. His crew was very respectful and professional. Always clean up at the end of the day and make sure all the trashed was pick up! Even though he is not one of the cheapest companies around the area, he knows what he is talking about and how to make sure to make my roof last for a very long time. Would highly recommend using this company in the future."
"I live in another state and was purchasing a property in Grand Junction. I contacted Foundational Rock (Jason Weed) is the person who contacted me back. On the phone he was very nice, asked the right questions and was interested in taking on the project. My partner and I agreed to go from California and meet Jason at the property along with the real-estate agent. During this project meeting Jason felt this was a project he would be willing and capable of taking on. I moved forward with getting things in place with the bank. We meet again with Jason at the property, coming from California. Jason also meet with the HUD inspector assigned to our project from the bank. At no time did Jason give any indication he would not be taking on this project or give any indication he was too busy to accept this work. I provided Jason the timeline of when drawings needed to be submitted to the bank along with the timeline the bank had for Jason to submit his company information. The bank reached out to Jason more than once. I spoke with Jason on a Thursday, he confirmed that everything the bank needed would be submitted that Friday. This gave us two weeks for the bank to go over the documents and schedule the appraiser to come out. Unfortunately, after that Thursday phone call Jason went MIA for over a week, never submitted any documents. I called, text, emailed and nothing. No response. After 8 days Jason finally sends me a text stating he is busy working out of town, he only has cell phone reception on and off and he is very busy. He then let me know the architect he was working with pulled out and the price would be higher. I understand things happen, but it’s imperative to communicate with your client. Since Jason never communicated to us that he would not be taking this job on, until two weeks after he was supposed to submit all documents it caused us to lose the property. For two months we had been working with Jason, we travel from California twice to meet Jason. At no point did Jason provide any information that he was too busy or would not be taking this project on. The seller would not extend our 60 days to find a new contractor, because of this we had to cancel our contract on this purchase. I was heartbroken. I love this property and my partner, and I had big dreams of moving to this piece of land. I am shocked that a company (Jason Weed) would do something like this. All that was needed was communication, which was never done"
