Reviews of Cascade Park Apartments
"I can’t really speak to the specifics of the apartments because I never got the opportunity to actually see an apartment. I scheduled a viewing of an apartment that had been advertised online. I set up an appointment, drove all the way across town and was even there early. I waited at the door for several minutes before anyone answered the office buzzer. When they finally came and let me in, I was taken to an office where they asked what I was looking for. I explained my budget, size requirements etc. only to be told they had nothing to show me. They said they would call me when something opens up. I’m sorry? What? Why even schedule a showing if there are no vacancies? I wasted time and gas just to be sent away with a business card. Very unprofessional!"
"have lived here for 12 years and I am seriously wondering why lately. Great place to live until you need anything done. Took 5 days for our kitchen sink done. After multiple emails and management to set up a follow up appointment over the course of 2 1/2 weeks turns out the plumbers didn't do their job correctly now sitting waiting again for plumbers to show up . Excuse after excuse - we are short staffed, we are busy. Well I am busy. This is now the 2nd day off I have had to take off of work to sit and wait in the last month. Last month my husband waited at home for three days and no one showed up. For the $$$$$ it is so so not worth it. When our lease is up we will seriously consider living elsewhere"
"Pretty sure my last review was deleted. I was very disappointed about my experience here. The apartment had a a lot character, but the property management was a joke. I now have a sour taste in my mouth about Griffis Blessing. Maintenance was non existent. I had work orders in for months that I would have to recycle through their system because they would just clear my tickets as complete. The only contact I got from maintenance was one guy came in and said "yeah your refrigerator door is broken. You may want to take photos" he left and never came back. My fridge door was broken until I moved out. I had to fix the garbage disposal myself 6 times. To add insult to injury I reported that my garage door was broken. I told the property manager and she said they fixed it months ago and that it's no longer broken. The lock was definitely still broken and anyone could've just walked in. It's also important to understand that there's no microwave, no dishwasher, no AC, broken heating, and water that works 60% of the time. This community has so much potential and it's a shame a better management company isn't running the show. The area it's in is great and the apartments have a lot of character. That's it. I'd look elsewhere."
"There is a reason why this place has had three property managers in two years. When I got here in February 2020, staff was responsive and all was well. But for the past year and a half it's been a nightmare to get anything addressed from maintenance. Turns out that there's only one maintenance technician for two properties. I'm not sure who decided that having one tech for two different apartment complexes was a good idea, but that's the way upper management decided it should go. My heaters were not working for the past year and a half. I brought it up several times, and space heaters were promised while they waited for parts to get in to fix them. Nothing ever came. With below freezing temperatures, my apartment felt like an icebox at times. My heaters only recently got fixed. In April. With warmer temperatures coming. I cannot stress enough how bad this place has been for the past year and a half. Property staff are overwhelmed and constantly have to play catch-up. Do not move here. Spend your money elsewhere. It's a joke, and upper management hasn't done anything to address the many issues people have here."
"Unfortunately I had a very poor experience here, and I advise you to stay clear. ====Cons==== My $700 Deposit was absolutely stolen. I passed inspection entirely, but I lost over half of my deposit due to being prorated. This did not make sense to me as I moved out prior to my agreed lease end date. The place was constantly under water repair, it feels like every other week. Water went out during my showers frequently. Water was hard to control temperature wise too. According to maintenance there's lead in the water. That explains why it is yellow. Loudest noise issue with the radiator was never resolved after the last two months I lived there. I moved into the living room which did not help. This woke me up throughout the night. I had very limited control over the heat of my own room. If your neighbors are running it, you’re running it. It's an old radiator heating system. Didn’t tell me renewal Price despite multiple messages to team members. I never got an answer on this. Overpriced for what you get. Looked like someone was washing their pets in the washer units. A disgusting amount of fur in them. Down the road from a hospital so sirens are frequent at any time of day. Parking can get competitive ===PROS=== Neighbors seemed nice enough Close to Tejon st, plenty to do there Close to walking and biking trails"
