"It’s a decent place to live and for students it will be hard to find more affordable places to live in COS. Didn’t have really any major problems, but management is responsive when you need them. Apartments are nice overall. If you are in the senior/graduate school age bracket I’d recommend the two bedroom. Two negatives: -Apartments / rooms are very small so don’t bring a ton of things as you won’t be able to store it all. -Bathrooms are not a separate room in the apartment. Absolute nightmare because it makes it impossible to have friends/family/etc. over to visit. Not once did I have someone come and visit while I lived here for that reason alone."
"Management is an absolute nightmare, the units themselves are nice just get used to a lot of noise since it is a college living community. When we first moved in we did not have a trash can and the leasing office was extremely reluctant to give us one, took them over a month to finally get us one. They are almost never in office and are horrible at responding to emails, or phones. They constantly lost some of my roommates rent in the mail striking them with late fees that they didn't deserve. Cherry on top is they gave us 3 days notice when they decided to change there housing portal which made me pay in late fees. Like come on 3 days you had to have known that you where changing systems for at least a week and you give all the residents 3 days to switch over. Once again actual apartments are very nice but do not bother trying to work with the staff there they are lazy and incompetent."
"Ladies the leasing office does not care about your safety!!!!! I lived here 2019-2022 and in the last year of living there, we had multiple men from parties around us try to break into the house, smash all our patio furniture, and get on top of our roof jumping up and down for hours at a time. They leasing office refused to do anything. Even worse and most concerning, the maintenance man walked into my room, unannounced, twice. Both times, when trying to report what this man had done, Lion Village told me "that's not what the maintenance man said happened" and refused to believe a word I said. They have a creep working for them, and they are choosing to protect him. Your safety is not a concern at all to the leasing office, if anything they blatantly disregard it!"
"I like that everything is done online. You can request maintenance, enter in your documents, pay rent, and renew your lease all online which is awesome and convenient. All the staff is super helpful, understanding, and kind. When I first moved here I definitely had some stupid questions and they were always answered with no judgment. The maintenance team is pretty timely and will respond most issues within 1-3 days depending on the severity of the situation. The fitness center is limited, but good in a pinch and they always have fun snacks and goodies at the leasing office. The pool is freezing though which is a bit of a bummer, but obviously not a huge deal. I would definitely recommend moving here!"
"This place is the best living complex. It is meant for students and I think this is the best place to live when coming in for school and coming in from out of state. They are reasonably priced and really accommodate to their residents situations. They have the nicest and most helpful staff. Damon the maintenance man is the best help when it comes to anything going wrong inside the house and is always responsive and quick with his help. The whole leasing office is amazing and helpful. They are some of the nicest people I have met. I would like to especially thank Danielle and Anna who are the mangers at this office. They helped me and my roommate through difficult times and very interesting situations that came about during our time here. I honestly do not know what we would do without their help and understanding. They are really there to help their residents and help us have an easier time in our homes. I again can not thank everyone enough who worked here. I recommended this place to anyone looking for a place to start when living on their own. Besides the fact that is it just for student houseing, the staff made me feel I could live there forever!"
