Reviews of Polaris Peak Apartments
"We stayed here for about 7 months . Definitely over priced for the quality they provide. • starting off they charge you for pest control but don’t do anything to fix it when you request it. • they did false advertising, we did a move in special were a friend recommends someone and if they move in you both get $500 neither one of us received that. • our car was broken into multiple times and false accusations about our animals. • when we decided to finally move they tried over charging us for the lease break fee that was NOT included in our lease it was definitely overwhelming feeling like we force to wait it out. • we complained multiple times about our neighbors above us consistently stomping , and yelling and they didn’t do anything. Overall I would not recommend they are a headache !!"
"Terrible management. They are never at work. You can call during business hours and you’ll never get a response. Their office is always closed. They don’t resolve any issues. People in the community park in other peoples garages, handicap parking, and most cars don’t have parking passes Due to management not doing anything about it. I’ve tried calling the tow truck company they post in the parking lots due to cars staying parking in my garage for several hours and I get told management needs to call yet they’re never here to call the tow company. Cars ALWAYS get broken into. Lots of homeless people roam around breaking windows and getting stealing what they can. People leave their dogs locked out in the balcony all day and night you constantly hear them barking at everything that passes by. People jam music from their cars in the parking lot. Parties keeping people awake. And inconsiderate people yelling, screaming, and slamming doors. Neighbors smoke pot in their homes and the smell comes through the vents and into your own home."
"Moved from here after a 1 year lease. The leasing office is friendly and responsive, the apartments themselves are nice but over priced for that specific area. Parking is adequate and never had a problem getting a spot near my apartment. Storage rooms are nice and fairly priced. Nice views of the mountains. Here’s the negative. After making a 19 hour road trip moving here no one was at the leasing office when I arrived even though it was within the hours of operation. Waited over an hour for someone to show. A/C stopped working a week after moving in. Took over a week and a half to have fixed temps got to over 90 degrees in the apartment . They supplied a portable A/c which cooled 1 room. Maintenance is nice did feel uncomfortable with 1 maintenance man as he was overly interested in my personal life as well as the constant question of if I lived alone. There is dog poop EVERYWHERE. No one cleans up after their dogs, many instances of people letting their dogs run free causing what could’ve been dangerous interactions if my dog wasn’t trained as well as he is. You can hear EVERYTHING, neighbors arguing upstairs/ beside you. My niece was terrified sleeping there on her visits as she could hear the people next door and upstairs she thought “monsters” were in her room. Door slamming shut all hours of the day. If the wind is blowing too hard the door will constantly slam by itself. My car was broken into 3 times within a matter of months. The “security” is a joke they drive through the parking lot once then leave. As much as rent is there’s no outdoor cameras. Residents had to band together filing over 20 police reports for the person to get arrested. Only response given from leasing was to ensure our cars were locked. Which my car was they caused damage to the lock by using a screwdriver to jam door open. Homeless roam the neighborhood at all hours, they come up from the back field & are typically not lucid. We have found used drug needles , broken bottles etc on our walks. Police are not responsive to the area. Would recommend living elsewhere."
"The people in the leasing office are fabulous and the neighbors are generally pretty nice. The biggest issue is the lack of roof over the foyer areas of a lot of the buildings and lack of drain the floor of the foyer. When it rains heavily the apartments tend to flood. The architect apparently designed it this way and the owners are supposedly billionaires who dont care about anything but money so they wont offer a permanent solution. Even if the apartments dont flood there is still standing water in the foyer area, which is a health hazard. Ive chosen to move because of this issue, but it wouldnt surprise me if the owners find themselves in a lawsuit."
"Polaris Peak apartments is a wonderful place to live at. Nice amenities, love the gym, the hot tube and the pool. Dogs park is amazing. The views are absolutely gorgeous from the balcony. Norma and the staff are always ready to help. The whole stay was great and me and my husband still miss our apartment and we are thinking to go back there after our current lease."
