"This is probably the worst rental situation I’ve ever been in. Moved into the apartment, heat didn’t work, windows were broken, cabinets and drawers were filthy, holes in the walls, outlets that don’t work. I’ve been here less than two months and have had to call to have my heat fixed every three days. The front office has no care, and actually leaves the office for multiple days without leaving someone in charge that can handle day to day issues. Filthy hallways, disgusting elevator, laundry room that most of the machines don’t work. They don’t shovel the walkways, nor do they do a thing about the amount of snow in the parking lot. Dog poop everywhere, never cleaned. These places are way over priced for what you’re getting, you will be charged an enormous amount of “non-refundable” fees - pay for parking - pet deposit that is non refundable, and your utilities are split between the entire property. If you’re looking to keep your utilities low, nothing you can do about it. The hotel next door is a drug haven. They tow cars from the parking lot on a daily basis, your friends will have to pay fees just to park for a visit. This place is embarrassing and management should be appalled, but they care not. If you don’t like it, they say that they’ll “try” to get you out of the lease without charges, but basically threatening to kick you out for asking for basic services - like heat. Most of the units are empty, for a reason. Do not let them only show you the model apartment or rely on the pictures on their website, total bait and switch. Stay away, there are too many places in the same price range that are much, much better than this place. Rent at your own risk."
"So, the location is mostly good. A little loud outside with highway being so close. That's where the negative stuff ends. The wonderful ladies in the office are great! I was in an accident where I broke more than a few bones back in August. I was in the hospital for about 5 and a half weeks. Needless to say, I haven't been able to return to work. I was left unable to pay my rent. I was worried about being evicted. Then I spoke with Kara and Leslie. They have gone above and beyond to make sure I knew about/had the resources to stay in my home. They got me in contact with a wonderful organization that helped allow me to keep a roof over my head. I was nervous coming back to explain what I was going through and they did so much so I didn't have to move. They showed concern for my wellbeing. They genuinely cared about what I was going through. Leslie and Kara are amazing and I can't thank them enough. I expected an, "oh, well, that sucks. Not our problem.". They were the exact opposite of what I pictured going to have that conversation. I received so much support from these two wonderful human beings I don't have the words to properly thank them. If you're in the market, and you don't mind a little noise from the traffic, definitely talk to these two. They have, hands down, made this the place to be. I can't thank you, Leslie and Kara, for the kindness and understanding you both showed me. So, Kara, Leslie, thank you for all you have done. I'm lucky to have met you, and anyone else will be, as well. You two are absolutely amazing!"
"Really could never recommend living here. I've never had the sense that the people genuinely care or have positive regard for residents. Lots of unnecessary hidden fees upon move-in. The microwave didn't open when I moved in because it was improperly fitted for the space. The refrigerator scrapes on the walls (also doesn't fit in the spot). Cold air blows right through the single-pained windows day and night. There are constantly bugs and flies and spiders in my unit, even though I'm careful to keep doors/windows closed. The building smells like weed daily. I can't have friends over because any guests will be towed after 6pm unless they go through the 7-minute process to register their car, VIN and all, and pay $5. None of my friends want to visit me because it's not worth the risk or hassle (minimum of $350 if towed). Thus, it's not worth my money to live here - I don't get to live a normal life in my apartment because I can't have friends over for dinner after work. I want to move out as soon as I possibly can, but the lease has the most unreasonable lease-breaking agreement I've ever seen in my life (no opportunity to buy out for any reason, which I would very, VERY gladly take at this point). Seriously, for your own sake, don't be tempted to sign any kind of legally-binding contract with this place. There are better options, and I can't wait to relocate to one of them."
"Both Kara and Leslie are gracious and welcoming property managers. I appreciate that they are accommodating and always available to answer questions or to help in any way needed. I love my stainless steel appliances and the modern look of the kitchen overall. Best of all, I love, love the spaciousness of the balcony and look forward to spending time turning it into an oasis of my own."
"If I could give zero stars I would. Buckle up. Moved into one of their "renovated" units. Keep in mind, they charge a lot if you take into consideration the amenities, old buildings and sketchy location. You cannot get your mail outside of leasing office hours, so if you work a 9-5, you will never get your packages. I had tried going during lunch to find the office closed whenever I arrived. Glass windows were always broken on the sidewalks and parking lot theft was way too frequent. I had mice in my apartment the first week, a punched hole in a door, no screens on my windows or locking features and my closet door and toilet paper holder fell off the day we moved in. The buildings are always heated during the winter so I was always sweating profusely inside the house and had to open windows only to get charged for the heating bill every month. No one picks up after their pets and there doesn't seem to be any groundskeeper or maintenance staff that cleans the property. I only lived here 2 months before I decided to break lease. The final straw was cops pulling a gun on a driver parked in the lot. This driver backed into the cop car and pulled out into the fence in front of him trying to get away. The truck sized hole in the fence remained there for a couple weeks. No email or reassurance from the management team regarding this event. They just did a poor job fixing the fence and moved on. Management will leave notices when my neighbors were past due on rent. They didn't even bother to fold the notices so I pretty much knew what everyone in my hallway was paying. Upon lease break, they charged me one months rent AND required a 30 day notice. Which after looking into Colorado housing laws, they can only ask for notice OR lease break fees. We paid 2 months of utilities we didn't use which is fine, but they also have some lame policy where you pay for a full paint job if you live their for less than a few months. (this one is one me for not reading the terms). The jetty deposit is impossible to cancel so they kept charging me months after I moved out, when the apartment community was supposed to notify them when we left. After a lot of back and forth, the apartment office finally notified the deposit company that we had moved out of the community. Honestly, what a headache. Horrible management company, shady practices and I have nothing good to say about my experience here."
