"My family and I have always had good experiences with Teresa, Dr. Ranum and all the docs and staff in this place. I can tell they truly care about their patients and are passionate about healthcare overall. I will continue to seek care for me and my family in years to come!"

"I was hurt on the jod and my employer had me taken on my first appointment to the Scranton office. I had hurt my right ankle ( which has been fused) due to multiple sprains and breaks. Upon arriving I was seated in the reception area, signed in and waited about 40 minutes while patients were called back. Finally was called back and explained what happened. So x-rays were taken showing a broken screw that secured my out leg bone to my larger leg bone at the ankle joint. Was told broken screw that I needed to stay off my foot, to use crutches or a cain. I told them O had neither. So the (2) doctors, one a NP. the other a MD. went to a storage room and came back to tell me they had no crutches or a cain that I needed to buy my own. So my foot was wrapped in an Ace Bandage with some sort of a pliable splint and was then told not to walk on it . Virtually impossible since I had no crutches. Was given an appointment with another Dr.@ West River Clinic in New England. Went to that appointment to see a Podiatrist which in my opinion wasn't worth seeing. He looked over the x-rays and tried his best to tell me I hadn't hurt my foot that the screw and break in my foot could have been there for years ( in the same sentence said that an adult bone break takes 6 weeks to heal) , so there I sit with my foot black, blue and dark purple from the brusing am being told he didn't know if my foot was hurt or not that he had to just go on my word saying my foot hurt( it being bruised and swollen) didn't mean anything to him. He told me to stay off my foot, to apply ice and elevate my foot. Was told to use crutches "AGAIN". The nurse left the room and came back hold a very old pair of USED wooden crutches with the rubber padding dry rotted covered in dirt, dust just filthy and told me to use those. I declined so my foot was placed in a "walking boot". The Doctor's at both offices wrote me a Doctors excuse stating to do No excessive standing or walking, to ice and elevate my foot. The safety guy that was with me ( our company man) kept telling the Dr to be sure to Not write a prescription because it would then be considered a "Recordable" accident. He even went as far as taking the first Dr's excuse back to the Dr's office( after I had already drove home) and told her to destroy the first note she had written and then proceeded to dictate in his own words how the note shall read. Upon doing this he called me at my home( on the same day) and told me to DESTROY that note that he had went back to the Doctor's office and had them rewrite my dr's excuse! Now you tell me what kind of doctor would let a safety guy off tge street come into their office and Tell them to destroy the first written excuse and then DICTATE what he wanted wrote in the Dr's excuse!! To sum things up, VERY POOR HEALTH CARE PROVIDED AND NONE OF THOSE DR'S have any Morals nor Values concerning the patients health and whats best for the patient. I wouldn't recommend West River Clinic to anyone, even for a simple cut on a finger....I wouldn't let them treat my dog muchless a human . Be AWARE AND FOR GODS SAKE GO TO A HOSPITAL INSTEAD OF THOSE QUACKS! JOE FROM TEXAS!"
