"First, to be fair, the lease states: " We have no duty to remove any ice, sleet, or snow but may remove any amount with or without notice" I take care of my driveway but didn't think I had to take care of the roads as well. Attached are photos from a snow fall where small chunks of ice were left by the plowing done. The drive wave has bit of a lift/gutter, high enough where it scrapes the bottom of my car. You'll see in the photos where a resident had an emergency and emergency vehicles had to park in a specific way to avoid as little of the ice chunks as possible. You can see the tracks the gurney made as it had to carefully roll a patient through the ice and further way from the apartment entrance to avoid more ice. On a side note, you'll notice cars and trucks in the fire zone. There is limited parking so residence are forced to park there. There is no enforcement of no parking in the fire zone. A second set of photos attached from a second snowfall shows large boulders of ice after a plow blocking the entrance and exit of a driveway. This is about 36 to 48 hours after snowfall (Edit another day as gone by and it's the same). My car can't make it out my garage. I'll have to wait until the sun loosens the ice before I shovel the ice from the ROAD. Finally, ever since moving into these apartments, I've broken out in hives. Never have I gone through a process where I need to take a Zyrtec type product to ease the pain while still breaking out. I'm in the process of determining if there is mold or some other reason for my breakouts. There are other reviews indicating that there is a mold and mildew suspicion at these apartments."
"If you're looking for luxury, don't get sucked into this spider web. There are cleaner, better-run apartments in Denver, and in the real Aurora. You might like it here if you only get along with white people, place money above probably even your own safety, you are owned by a dog, and you fear the real world. Everything about Tallyn's Reach is pure trash...especially the people-shaped things that live there."
"We initially loved living here till 2 months after we moved in, our apartment just became a weed den with weed odor completely taking over our apartment from the people below us in the apartment directly below smoking weed in their apartment. Every time we walk in it smells like someone broke in and hot boxed in our home. No matter how many times my husband complained to the manager, nothing got done. They tried doing stuff to our apartment like cleaning the vents, which doesn’t stop the smell coming directly up through the floors into ours like their heat does. Maintenance team is amazing, the office is friendly for the most part, but the pos neighbors have ruined the apartment for us to where we won’t be staying here anymore"
"Location was great. However my wife and I lived there for three years and had to move as rent gets raised every year, to absurd amounts (12% in one year) as the typical corporate property companies do. When we moved out even after three years of upstanding tenancy we were beholden to the $3300 extortion fee to break the lease. I refused to pay and they sure as hell sent it to collections. Pure greed and extortion. The two stars are for the great location but this place is run by greedy owners and inflexible management. If you sign a lease here read the 100 page contract and haggle for what you are unwilling to pay for."
"I lived here for 2.5 years after moving from Pennsylvania. When searching for an apartment home I felt they offered great value for the price. The apartments were nice and kept, the grounds were nice. The heated pool all year round as well as the hot tub was a definite perk. I used the gym and business center while I lived there as well. The one thing that sold me was that a garage was included with every apartment at no extra charge, which was very important to me. I had very little maintenance issues while I was there and they always addressed them in a timely manner. The office staff was easy to work with as well. My upstairs neighbor was a nightmare with their heavy walking and banging around, but other than that I had no issues at this community. I would definitely recommend this complex to my friends and family looking for a place in Colorado. The office member I worked with to sign my original lease said people live there until they buy a house, and she was spot on. The only reason I moved was because I bought my first house."
