The Preserve at City Center

"this is absolutely the WORST complex i have ever had the disadvantage of ending up in. let’s start with the parking situation. when we first moved here they said they’re were going to start making people register their cars. they started giving out stickers at one point (one for each adult in the apartment) but they ran out and i assume never ordered more, staff changed over AGAIN and then they never did anything about it. starting at about 6pm you’ll have to search for a spot because some residents i’ve seen have 3 or 4 cars (some of them don’t even run and will sit in a spot and not move.) i’ve seen people have to park on the curb by their building because there’s just no other option. (this is a safe hazard having cars parked along fire lanes, but oh well, right?) the walls are PAPER thin. when people walk by my door it literally sounds like they’re IN my living room watching tv on the couch with me. I can hear FULL conversations of the neighbors downstairs sitting in my bed right now. sometimes as early as 7 or 8am you’ll have people blaring their car radios in the parking lots while they’re working on their cars and even sometimes late at night. i cannot count the number of times i’ve been laying in my bed and been able to make out a phone conversation someone is having in their car while they’re phones on bluetooth. it’s INSANE. maintance is almost none existent. they’re always short staffed, not sure how they can find staff for almost a year now but, don’t expect anything in your apartment to be fixed in a timely manner. I was without AC for all of July and had to call them 3 or 4 times after they had HVAC come out and fix it because it wasn’t done correctly. Also, when you submit a maintenance request it asks for permission to enter your home while you’re away or if you’d like to schedule a time for them to come. I have ALWAYS selected the option to have them call and schedule it with me and they NEVER have. they just come and go as they please, partially fixing whatever issue you submitted. Why even give us that option if you’re not going to even follow it? (also, the staff turnover rate is ridiculous. it’s fair to not what whatever staff they hired off the streets coming in and out of my home while i’m not there without warning.) the dumpsters are constantly overflowing and the smell is atrocious. people start just throwing they’re trash wherever and piling it into heeps all around the dumpster area instead. you have trash valet but they usually skip days often or you’ll have squirrels tears holes in it because it didn’t get picked up and now trash is all on the hallway and no one picks it up. I moved in and the stove was missing pieces so the whole stove couldn’t be used. it took them a WEEK to get the parts for my stove after complaining over and over like “hey i can’t even cook anything in my new apartment and i’m having to eat out most meals.” they paint over the bathtubs after every tenant i assume. so, if you actually clean the tub, after about the 3rd or 4th time it starts peeling up and looks trashy. the paint on the walls, cabinets and fire place are all extremely chipped. some of my cabinets are partially coming off of the hinges (why make a maintenance ticket thought because it won’t get done.) the appliances are super old and poorly maintained so they don’t work well. i have to jiggle the stove top sometimes to make the wires connect right so the burners will turn on. and if anyone in the building is washing clothes, running the dishwasher, etc. good luck taking a hot shower. also you can’t do it even in your own apartment. we’ll have to shower first and then kick on the dishwasher or wash clothes because otherwise you’re taking an ice cold bath. i sincerely cannot wait to move out. it cannot come soon enough. i constantly see people moving out and apartments staying vacant for months on end and it’s clear why. save yourself the headache and look elsewhere."

"I DO NOT recommend living here, it’s not a secret that anywhere in Denver is extremely expensive, however because I am paying so much I would expect quality service, we are expected to pay our rent on time to not get an extra charge however we can’t even get maintenance to show up. I have work orders going back to almost a year. The office always seems to have new employees so nobody ever knows what’s going on and they’ve been short on maintenance staffing for more than 6 months. Unfortunately for personal reasons I’m not able to move, so I have been here for 6 years, and from day one I’ve had issues with one thing or another. If you like it here because of the pool, I find that most of the time it’s closed or extremely dirty, again because they have no staff!"

"It is the best place that you can get if you gana get issues.. The people of the leasing office is so lazy, they give you the apartment without being able to live ( we received us unit with issues in the bathroom, kitchen and other places) if you wanna request something service, they put your order like completed without comments and without go to repair it! We have a problem with cockroaches 2 weeks ago and they aren’t doing anything yet. It’s a really bad place. Please look others units!"

"My dog ​​and we are enduring the cold in the room, they have not wanted to fix the heating in my room, they say that we are not a priority, what a bad service they provide here at preserve, they owe me a deposit more than two months ago, in the contract It says it should take two months maximum but I have been waiting for that deposit for more than two months. I don't know who else to turn to to help us solve these problems. The lady in the office gets angry every time I go and I don't understand why if I'm paying for the apartment it's not a free gift. Please I need help to fix the damage to my apartment, I am sick and I can't use the bathroom because it is clogged and the office says it is not an emergency, who can I talk to to help me fix that today 11 /29/2023. I need a solution because they respond to this comment but they do not provide a solution and the rent is being paid very punctually so that they do not help to solve it."

"I have never left reviews before, but I feel this is needed due to seeing other reviews that are simply just not true. I’ve lived here for going on 3 years now. I’ve lived all over from Michigan to Florida to here and I have never once found a place that is more caring of their tenants. Everything is handled professionally and rarely ever have I had any issues maintenance wise. And If there ever is an issue, they arrive in a very timely matter. I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed with the management of an apartment complex but not only am I impressed I’m genuinely thankful for Alexa and the rest of the staff. Best part is, you’re right next to all the stores for shopping. I have a hard time staying put however I am happy to say this is one place I’ll be staying at for a while due to the people that work here and the comfortability of my apartment."
