"After living here for a year I can say it was such an awesome time for me. I was a first time solo renter after a breakup and trying to figure out a place to live on short notice was no easy task, but after finding “The Ascent on The Highline Apartments” I felt like I finally found a little home for myself, then I met Jordan and he helped me in so many ways to keep the renting process smooth and simple!! After getting everything figured out and finally getting moved in Jordan was quick to answer any questions, comments, or concerns about my unit or surrounding tenants. Throughout my time living here I never had any issues with pests, electrical, water, heating/AC, noises, safety, etc. also anytime we had things like “scheduled water shutoffs” from the city of Aurora we would always get informed via text which came in handy. never really needed much maintenance in or around my unit so that was nice, and even small things that needed attention outside my unit but around my building were attended to efficiently. A year later, As I geared up for yet again another move and having to leave my new home here at the ascent, I found myself overwhelmed and struggling to get things in order, but Jordan yet again made it easy to get things squared away with the ending of my lease. He was quick to communicate and answered all the hard questions that I needed answered, and did it in a way I can understand because being a first time renter it was no easy hurdle covering all my basis. But thankfully I had an awesome landlord who took the time to care and helped me immensely. Thanks for that ^_^ and as I was in my final weeks at the complex the new gentleman, Robbie, at the office was wonderful with assisting me with following up on things and getting back to me with new or updated information pertaining to my end date with the complex. "The management is great but many drug people would come off the trail and steal off my back porch. Had my truck stolen and my girlfriend had her car stolen while it was warming up. But the manager Jordan was the best landlord I ever dealt with. I would not recommend this place until they get real security to deal with the issues coming off that nature trail. The complex should get 0 stars and the manager deserves 1000 stars."

"I called ahead on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment to view an apartment, since the website schedule option was not working. I was told that it was shut off due to low staffing in the office. However, the person I spoke with stated he would be able to get me scheduled to tour on Friday, June 2nd. That was perfect for my timeline! I took off work early to get to the 2 PM appointment (my office is downtown, so it’s a bit of a drive) just to get here and find the office locked up tight, lights off and a sign on the door reading “Office Closed Friday/Saturday”. A notification that my appointment was canceled would have been great! I took time out of my workday to come over here, out of my way to view an apartment and they couldn’t even have the decency to call and say that they wouldn’t show up for an appointment that was booked over the phone with them. Not even worth calling them back to reschedule. If they can’t be reliable for potential future residents, I don’t have any faith in what the future living here would look like."
