"The sanctuary at cockroach ridge place was infested with cockroaches from the minute I moved in. They have a gym that they listed as amenities but they're always closed when people get off work which makes no damn sense whatsoever. It got so bad the Cockroaches were crawling around in the hallways during the day. There was an ungodly smell coming from below my apartment I thought somebody had died. Apparently just somebody making fish sauce that was common I guess. I even had a squirrel come up through the pipes in the toilet. Right into my apartment."
"THE WORST PLACE I BEEN LIVING ON MY LIFE! THE NEIGHBORS WILL STOLE YOUR BICYCLES, CLOTHES FROM LAUNDRY, YOUR AMAZON PACKS TOO! IF YOU MOVE HERE! FOR REAL, I PREFER TO LIVE ABOVE THE BRIDGE NOW!! THERE SOMEONE STOLE MY CATALYTIC CONVERTER!! THEY AT THE OFFICE DONT DO ANYTHING 0 SECURITY IN THIS PLACE, RUN AWAY FROM HERE !! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED"
"Where do I begin with this place. 0 STARTS 1) The first night I found out there were roaches. We bombed the place and kept traps down and didn't see many after that. Not saying they weren't in our neighbors home considering there is no pest control. 2) Hall ways and stairwells stink even after they ripped up the 10 year old carpet in the buildings. Walls are disgusting even after they paint them. 3) The elevator works sometimes. When it does you may be fearful of it malfunctioning. 4) Kids are constantly running through the halls unsupervised. 5) The water can be super hot or super cold. Or shut off completely with a text warning. 5) Car's are not safe and there is no security. The lights in the parking lot are always off making the lot pitch black dark. Which is always easier for car thieves to seal in peace. All the complex does is post signs that they are aware. 6) The laundry mat is a joke for sure. You will be better off driving to the nearest laundry mat in a blizzard than putting clothes in their washer & dryer. 7) Packages are constantly being stolen. Use amazon drop box, get a doorbell camera, or make sure someone is home to go down stairs and get the package. Delivery drivers will leave your package and 10 seconds later it will be gone. The call boxes do not work. Can't wait to move from this place. Outside of the space inside your apartment you will hate it here."
"Where to begin? I lived there for 4 years. It wasn't horrible at first. Each year it has gotten progressively worse. • The showers do not maintain a consistent temperature. It goes from scalding hot to freezing cold and back again. •The hot water is turned off on a fairly regular basis for repairs. Occasionally water is turned off all together. •I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling with BLACK MOLD!!! It took them 3... yes, THREE months to come "fix" it. And by fix it I mean paint over it. The mold and constant 3 month drip was directly over my stove. I called the office multiple times, turned in an letter in writing when it all began. I got no response until I went into the office with my phone recording the conversation. At that point, they were there in about a week to "fix" it. •Maintenance did go into my apartment at least once without my knowledge. I know this because they locked me out of my own apartment then told me it would cost $75.00 for them to come let me in. •The code to the front door made me feel secure when I first moved in... it was only changed once in the 4 years o was there. This may be part of the reason it was not uncommon to find homeless people sleeping in the laundry room. This may also be part of the reason the storage units were broken into at the first of the year. •They of course found an excuse to keep part of my security deposit.... I truly hope they use part of that to clean or replace the vile carpet they have in the halls. The stench that goes along with the carpet is probably what attracts the bugs. Yes, there is a bug problem there! In conclusion, if you have to pick between here or your mom's basement, team mom's basement 100%!!"
"We've had the ABSOLUTE WORST time living in this apartment complex. Before I permanently moved from Aurora, I wanted to ensure that my mom was settled down. We found this complex, with raving reviews and what seemed to be very nice management (which of course, proved to be some of the rudest people I've encountered). Within the first few months of being at the apartment, my mother fell on her face at night on extremely uneven concrete pavement. She was rushed to the ER and still has permanent damage. When we called the following morning to confront the complex of the issue of NEGLIGENCE, they denied it, refused to respond further, and sent someone to shave the pavement down so they would not have any proof of negligence. Fortunately, we had multiple witnesses and are working on that claim. A couple of months after that, the bathroom above my mother's apartment FLOODED AND COLLAPSED on my mother's bathroom, while my little sister was still in the bathroom. Everything was covered in feces and no one was available to help us even through the following day. You can only imagine the health implications associated with a bathroom overflowing with multiple people's feces. To add more salt to all her wounds, throughout the course of living there my mother also ACQUIRED ROACHES several times from the laundry room, which can obviously be a pain to get rid of. I highly recommend (if you so stupidly decide to stay here) to go to a laundromat."
