Reviews of The Parc at Cherry Creek Apartments
"Great place to live if you like a management group that allows upstairs tenants dogs to poop onto your patio and who rent to animal abusers whose dogs scream in pain all night, no oversight or security set up around the complex to protect your vehicle and belongings, constantly stepping in feces in all of the common areas, regular break ins at the package room due to absence of proper security and deterrents, being left without heat for weeks during the coldest days of the year, having your car damaged by plows hired by the office and then being told to get bent when you ask to be properly reimbursed or trying to have them take accountability for anything etc. etc. You'd be better off in a trailer park or section 8 housing than this place Edit: added pictures for reference of how the office chooses to let tenants park and never bothers to lift a finger to do anything about it Edit #2: While management claims they made attempts to remedy these issues they made no effort whatsoever to do anything of the sort until I was forced to send them a letter of Demand to Remedy"
"I think my one star review keeps getting deleted but I'll just keep posting it! If you can rent anywhere else you should do so. My wife and I had to break our lease early due to harassment from neighbors that management never addressed. To make things even worse management decided to charge us over $2000 in 'repairs' for items that where all listed as damaged at move in. Unfortunately I didn't have representation at the time to fight these bogus charges. Learn from me and rent somewhere else."
"I have lived in a variety of apartment complexes. My standards aren't high, especially as I have had extremely negative prior experiences. Compared to those absolutely awful apartment buildings, PCC deserves more than one star. As far as apartments go, it's middle of the road in quality, with plenty of pros but notable cons that inspired us to move out. See: crime and management’s laissez-faire attitude towards it. Pros: • no train noise. • relatively responsive maintenance and office staff for most day-to-day stuff. • I really recommend them if you are looking for an apartment fast, and speed is your priority, because the leasing office is excellent in its level of responsiveness and you will hear from them right away. • low price for pet-friendly two bedroom with in-unit W/D. The in-unit washer/dryer are workhorses. • I wouldn't call the location luxurious by any stretch but it is centrally located enough to make most places in metro Denver easily reached within 30 minutes. • Rent increases seem reasonable compared to other landlords in metro area. • I never saw any vermin, thank goodness. • Most neighbors don't live here a particularly long time but are considerate and quiet. Lots of families. Never had a problem with late-night party noise even though there are clearly many students. Cons: • Extensive petty crime. Subjected to multiple vehicle and garage break-ins. Car prowls and thefts are common. Many cars hit in the parking lot. Mail room had multiple break-ins in two years here, especially around the holidays. Even the mailboxes show marks of attempted prying with a crowbar. Never leave anything of value in your car or garage, pick up your packages and mail ASAP, get a dashcam with parking mode, and consider alternatives to mailing checks if you live here. Management is actively opposed to adding safety features like cameras; they essentially say "that's on you" if your belongings are stolen. I get that to some extent; cameras can be a hassle, but not even having them at parking lot entrances/exits is a bit ridiculous. For all their tacticool trappings and aggressive speeding on the freeway, Front Range Patrol is worse than useless. They park illegitimately in disabled parking spots and do absolutely nothing else, as far as I can tell. No wonder this complex is a carousel of people constantly moving in, then out. There's higher turnover than many places I've lived, which I see as a con. • Poor noise cancelation. Not the worst complex I've lived in in this regard, but relatively bad. If your downstairs neighbors have kids or a pet running around, you'll hear it at all hours (and even worse for upstairs neighbors). If people are having a loud conversation, you'll hear it. I am surprised now, living somewhere quieter, how much noise pollution there was even in somewhere ostensibly relatively quiet. Get earplugs. • In the summer, this place reeks of hot garbage and sun-ripened dog poop from the too-infrequently-emptied dog poop containers. A/C appears to be very energy-inefficient given my flabbergasting energy bill (maybe it's quite old), so we've had to learn to coexist with the stench due to having windows open all the time. • Lots of dog poop left everywhere. Yes, dogs are DNA tested, but the followup is clearly lacking because people leave it with little compunction to clean up. Some of the offenders appear to live on the first floor, but the yard around their unit isn't only theirs, and I don't see why I should have to tiptoe around landmines to cut across it. • Water turned off frequently, sometimes without warning. Not a huge problem but mildly irritating. • No overhead lights in most rooms. I like ambient light but having the option for overhead light when looking for something at nice is preferable. • Layout of at least our 2BR/2 bath unit is somewhat unfortunate and makes apartment feel smaller than it is. Very 80s--popcorn ceilings, narrow. Bathtubs unusually worn. • I had my apartment professionally cleaned before moving out and they still found a cleanliness complaint to deduct some money for!"
"The team at Parc at Cherry creek are phenomenal to work with. Amanda show up with extreme professionalism and they show true attention and appreciation to detail and this is felt by their residents and community alike. Residents that live here speak highly of their experience. Thank you Amanda."
"I have lived here for nearly a week now. So far, so good! I love the vibe of this complex. My first leasing agent was Connor, and now Sophia. Both have been great, helpful, reliable, and have provided a wealth of information/resources. I am very grateful for the opportunity to live here, and for all of the wonderful amenities. My only minor complaint/comment would be sometimes the parking lot can fill up quickly, and sometimes cars park close to each other. But again, that's not really an issue per say. Thank you for supporting me!"
