Reviews of 4805 Kentucky Apartments
"I would give zero stars if I could. Do NOT live here. The only reason my fiance and I stayed for a year and a half was because of how cheap it was, and it was cheap for a reason. The front door to the building, which was the only form of security, was CONSTANTLY broken. The elevator worked MAYBE 50% of the time. The inside of the elevator was always graffiti covered. I got stuck inside the elevator probably 10 times. The emergency button doesn't call out and there is always a busy signal. There was trash inside the building every day, in the stairwells, in the front entrance, in the laundry room, etc. There was trash outside the building in the parking lot, in the dog park, in the gym. The dog park was always dirty with dog feces and never cleaned. The common area where the grills were was always covered in dog feces and the grills and tables were always broken. The garage gate never worked and cars were constantly broken into, there was a clear homeless camp in the garage itself, which attached to the building, with a door that was also NEVER locked. Laundry was stolen from the machines in the laundry room, and from people's front doors. Packages constantly got stolen. Cars in the above ground lots were constantly being hit by drunk drivers or just by people in the lot. There were police officers at the building at least once a month. Loud music blaring throughout the complex into the late hours/early mornings. People doing drugs in the parking lot. People fighting loudly in the parking lot or on their balconies. The management was garbage, they "lost" our rent checks three times even though the money was very clearly taken out of our account. When confronted about it, they said that they have "a lot of rent checks that come through and it's hard to keep track". When we moved out and broke our lease we paid a pro-rated rent and then were served with a late rent notice and fee. They are very disorganized and keep horrible track of anything and everything, and have awful communication skills. Again, DO NOT MOVE HERE."
"I live across the street. Several times a month, for over a year, an alarm goes off. It sounds like the prison alarm that would be portrayed on television when someone is trying to escape. Please fix the alarm. This place is a public nuisance. Periodically, through out the year some tenants launch bottle rockets and fireworks between midnight and 3 a.m. from their balcony, sometimes it’s every night. It’s really amazing when the fireworks are so loud they set off a bunch of car alarms. Please don’t allow your tenants to keep doing this. People have children. People need sleep. Forget about quiet enjoyment of your apartment if you live in or near this apartment."
"I’ve gotten my car broken into three times in the seven months I’ve been here the apartment staff and management will do nothing about it and will look at you with a sad face if you try to inform them of the issue, they are not trying to fix the problem and the problem is getting continuously worse You’re basically paying to get vandalized. It is not a good place to live at all, especially due to the fact, that parking is so sparse to begin with. To be clear this is not downtown Denver. This is about 20 minutes away from downtown Denver, and the crime is not the problem. It’s the fact that they refuse to get a hold of their complex all together it could be easily solved with a little bit of security, and some patrol work just actually wanting to make the environment safe for the tenants would actually be wonderful"
"I've just moved from Florida to Colorado and this was my first apartment rental experience, although there were some complications (mostly dealing with the online system the company uses) we had a very sociable welcome by Prentice who helped us through all the steps. I don't think we could've had a better person to get us through all the paperwork and pre-move-in hurdles. And to top it off, I think this is the cleanest apartment I've ever had the pleasure of walking into on the first day. Everything is neat, no mold or pests in sight, and the bathrooms completely white."
"By far the best experience living in an apartment I've ever had! Location is great, apartment was super cute, and I love the big balconies. But the thing that makes it my best experience is the management and maintenance crew. Emily is literally the greatest, she'll go above and beyond to help the residents out. Maintenance is fast, Rob is the greatest, and I've never had an issue that doesn't get resolved asap. I don't even live there anymore (moved into a house) and they are still helping me out with any questions I have. They build relationships with their residents and will always try their best to help out however they can. I fully regret moving out of there into a house that has been nothing but issues with a property management company that could care less about addressing those issues. I miss the Vue!"
