Reviews of The Logan Apartments
"Today Fred, a leasing specialist with the Logan appartments, helped me become familiar with the Property as a potential future resident. He was super helpful and operated with professionalism for every second! You can tell he likes his job and helping people. Beautiful appartments!"
"A great location is where the pros end. The Paskin Group is the worst management I've ever experienced. They lied about the building having wireless internet, then "revoked" the amenity when I found out it didn't actually exist. You'd be lucky to live anywhere else."
"Paskin is hands-down the least helpful property management I have ever encountered. Water heater was capped at room temperature for months upon move-in before maintenance listened. Lease agreement mentions providing tenants 2 sets of keys. Never got mine. Requested them upon lease renewal, been a year and never even got a response. Had several packages stolen from my inner door, took 7 months to have an employee look into it. Took them weeks to comb footage just to tell me "a non-resident took it" which is SUPER comforting knowing that our fob-entry building had non-residents enter on several occasions just to steal my packages. I specifically began to ask for deliveries to be left in the mail room, IMMEDIATELY after "resolving" my issue, management puts up signs instructing deliveries to be left at unit doors. Reported an issue with my window closing, maintenance looked at it, said they'd follow up. Two months later the same person promises to come and... look at it again, said they'd do so right after their lunch, which apparently lasted 3 weeks. Took a higher-up to call me and apologize for the maintenance request taking months for it to get looked at. Was super fun having a window stuck open during most of summer and the wildfire smoke in May. Every year, about 60 days or so before an annual lease ends, they reach out and ask if you are going to renew. Apparently telling them "no I am not renewing my lease" ISN'T NOTIFYING THEM THAT YOU AREN'T RENEWING YOUR LEASE. Because here I am, moving out of the Denver area, trying to be courteous and notifying them that the unit is vacated, cleaned, and ready for inspection/leasing to another tenant a month before my lease ends. Then someone at Paskin tells me that they never received a 60 day notice and therefore expect $3000 to be paid for the months that a unit is sitting empty. Oh also, they specifically returned keys that I've already surrendered because I. AM. MOVED. OUT. (But please, tell me how I enter the locked unit for the unit keys when I only ever had that one set) So I guess the best advice is that, towards the end of your lease, respond to their request to tell them you aren't renewing your lease, then give a written notice that you aren't renewing, then email that you aren't renewing, and you should probably call every day for 2 months to let them know you aren't renewing. MAYBE that'd be enough for them to realize you're leaving."
"This is a tough review for me to write because I enjoyed living at this apartment, and only left to move closer to my work. Unfortunately my otherwise positive experience with this building is completely ruined by how the situation with the garage door was handled. Days after the garage door was broken, my car got stolen out of it over night. While I understand that we sign paperwork that states that the management company isn’t liable for any lost or stolen property, BUT not immediately providing overnight security was a HUGE oversight on their part as well as a breach of contract- they’re supposed to provide means of reasonable security and then if something happens they’re not liable. After I reported my car was stolen to management, I received their apologies for the inconvenience, but no offering of what they intended on doing in the future or really any attempt to make the situation better. They eventually provided overnight security, but it was several weeks later, and ONLY after other residents had people breaking into their cars and attempting more theft. I was still on the emails being sent out even after I left. The property manager was really great at providing status updates in regards to the the gate that was being manufactured. It’s totally not their fault on the delay of the gate. There’s tons of supply chain issues right now, and a lot of materials are hard to come by these days, as well as major shipping delays. Keeping that in mind, they still should’ve jumped on getting security. I know it’s likely not the fault of the property manager, BUT whoever is in charge of making that decision is seriously lacking in judgement. If it were me - I wouldn’t feel safe or happy living in a building that’s charging over $1,500 a month for a studio, and isn’t willing to provide the necessary means to protect folks property One positive note I would like to add is that the maintenance staff are fantastic and super great at communicating when they’re coming by!"
"I have lived at The Logan for just over a year and it's quite the spot. The location is fantastic, quite a few bars and restaurants within walking distance in any direction. It's interesting to read the reviews about the garage door and the management being neglectful toward the issue. For the entire stint of it being broken, the management team would send very frequent updates about the status of the new door and the strides they were taking to negate the issues that resulted from it. I think the thing we forget as residents is that regardless of the situation, things are going to happen. It's the response and engagement from the team that is more important, in my mind. I felt like they handled the situation well. Paskin isn't a garage door manufacturer, so to chastise them for the length of time it took to get it replaced seems a bit short-sighted. Of course issues have come up -- have you ever lived somewhere they haven't? I have been pleased with the team's response to my inquiries about various questions or concerns I've had. I do not envy property managers because it seems like no matter what they do to help with issues, their efforts are overshadowed by disjointed complaints not even relating to the the actual problem. The management team is responsive, even when an issue is a bit outside of their control. And when the issue is within their control, they're quick and kind to offer a solution. The apartments and layouts are awesome -- floor to ceiling windows, huge closets and bathrooms, great storage in the kitchen. My unit faces 6th Ave and you'd think that'd be loud as a freight train, but that double-pane glass is doing God's work. My room comfortably fits a Cali King bed and my life has forever been changed by in-unit laundry. This is a great place to live -- if you're looking for a smaller community with great access to places walkable and drivable, low key neighbors, and a quiet overall experience, this may just be the one."
