Reviews of The Ridge at Thornton Station
"This apartment community is AMAZING. In all of my 7 years of renting, this is my favorite spot by far. I am amazed by the kindness of the staff. Chris, the property manager, Emmett and Jazleen are the office team. I have never met people so eager to help you when in need. Any random hiccup you have, they seem to solve immediately. Even down to helping me jump my car multiple times, they’ve been there. The maintenance guys, Davis and Connor are also the best. Efficient and actually care about the wellbeing of you and your place. If you’re looking for an apartment with the most square feet in the area and still at a good price, this is it. If you’re a renter like me, you understand who works at the property MATTERS. You will not regret living here. Amazing pool and hot tub, right next to the light rail if you need to commute to work, and a quiet neighborhood. If I could give this place 10 stars I would."
"I lived here for about 11 months then had to leave. I had my packages stolen twice from these apartments. Once the Amazon delivery driver delivered it to the wrong apartment (I know because I saw the pic he had taken and it wasn’t in front of my door because there wasn’t a mat). I tried looking for the package and figured the person who had received it would just take it to the leasing office, wrong they kept it. The second time it was taken from one of the shared lockers. Additionally, some of the doors aren’t sealed well; heat gets out, bugs get in. I would get spiders and moths crawling in from the bottom of the door to the step out balcony because there wasn’t any type of seal keeping anything out (I lived on the second floor, so I can only imagine how bad the first floor had it). It wasn’t all bad though…the front office staff are very nice and responsive, I never had any issues with them. I did have one maintenance issue and it was resolved fairly quickly. They didn’t raise my rent when it was time to renew. These apartments aren’t awful for the price but after getting packages stolen multiple times, I didn’t trust my neighbors."
"I don’t understand why they charge $25 more for someone to pick up the “big trash” that other peoples come to drop off that don’t even live here and there almost 300 apartments or more and doing the calculations we’re all paying 7500 to 8000 for them not to even pick up the “big trash” so where is the money going to ?"
"The Ridge at Thornton Station Don’t rent here. They are crooks. They are un-American. They tried to evict me because my bank was closed on memorial day. So the money didn’t go through in that 3 days after I paid the rent. After email them about it, they didn’t say anything. Not even a sorry for the mistake. They will try to charge you stupid fees like community pool water, community street lights, etc. I lived here for 6 years and I never pay for those fee until I told them I was not going to rent here anymore. The 3 first years were fine because it was owned by Gaylord. After they sold it to this company named Waterton. Everything went down hill. Their buildings has rats/mice holes. We got rats/mice pooped. We never had that problem until They took over. They don’t clean up anything. Dumpsters full with furniture’s left outside. It just look and feel trashy. When we signed our move out paper, We thought we were done with them. We paid our last payment and that was done. 2 months later, they tried to get a debt collector on us, saying we own them money for moving out fee, which was never told to us or on paper. They want to charge you $200 because you aren’t renting from them anymore. Then try to charge us cleaning fees without showing proof of the business that clean it and the Documents on it on our lease. They haven’t yet sent me any proof in our contract doc about cleaning fees proof, and the move out fee. I’ll be sure to make this known to all my clients, friends, families, & business partners about this dumpster fire place named The Ridge At Thornton Station."
"I’m usually not one to leave reviews and it took me a bit to give in but now I’m here. Starting with the positive, the team working the front office is amazing! Every single one of them. They have been nothing but helpful since the day I’ve moved in here, same goes for the maintenance team. The apartment it self is very big and spacey, amazing floor plan and nice big kitchen island with high ceilings depending on your unit. The appliances are outdated, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Rent was already more expensive compared to most 2 years ago when I moved in. I just received my lease renewal and for whatever reason they felt it was acceptable for these apartments to increase my rent $300. It would have went up $400 Had I been a new tenant moving in. Access to the gym door from outside is broken about 30% of the time As well as one of the pulleys on the cable machine has been broken for about a year now. Because of the rent increase that I refuse to pay considering what is offered with these apartments I looked at several different apartments to move in and all 10 that I looked at in the Thornton/Westminster area Were much cheaper granted the square footage wasn’t as much. Most of the apartments I looked at had brand new and newer updated appliances , as well as much more amenities from multiple pools and hot tubs as well as pool tables, game rooms, bigger gyms with more equipment, basketball courts etc. It pains me to have to write Such negative things about a place for I understand that it is hard to run a business but on the flipside with this ridiculous rent increase, I felt it was necessary to share my experience to help someone else."
