"You will regret it, do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache and look elsewhere."
"429 East 14th avenue. Denver Colorado on the corner of 14th and Pennsylvania. One of the worst apartment buildings i have been through/lived in a long time. You have people that cannot go down the stairs because the elevators broken so they're stuck in their room it's been broken for a long time there's no excuse on how there is an elevator repairman that can come out and fix this thing tenants are getting upset at the rate that they're paying. Patchwork all over the walls white paint squares on green Walls nothing actually finished or done in the entire place, not sure who they hired as their maintenance team or clean-out team but they're not doing their job if they're on drugs. You can gladly give them a drug test you are their employer and you can gladly ask them for reports on what it is that they're doing with your apartment building but you need to have pictures to go with it, do you even know that your elevator is out? What is your response as the owner? Are you going to bother to put in a work order for it to get fixed or are you going to condemn your building? Bad enough the electrical outlets are bad and you get shocked when you hit the on-off switch on your room light. What's up with the broken fountain that's in the middle hall as you come in through the front doors? Why isn't it plugged in why doesn't have water in it why is it not being used why did you move it to the most obnoxious place you could put it? To be an eyesore? I'm okay to accept that what you got to get the elevators going you got people up on the third floor and higher don't have no way but stairs. You understand it's against the law to do that right? I will be contacting building and code enforcement if you do not reply to me openly publicly on here to have this resolved ASAP it's Monday September 18th 2023. Talkin to your people in person gets you nowhere diplomatic response not needed straight forward expected."
"This place is a death trap. Constant shoddy repairs for things that matter (the elevator, washes and dryers that never work, plumbing) and over expenditures on things like the front steps.. the ceiling once caved into the lobby and there was a hole for months. Heat will die during the middle of winter. There are cockroaches and mice. The laundry room floods frequently, the boilers have caught on fire before - and the owners jack up rent according to “market value” while you still live in a 1922 bottom level of the titanic-esque antique that was maybe “updated” (think classic landlord white cover up paint) in the 70s..My apartment here had a paper plate painted to the wall to cover up what I am assuming is some plumbing repair in the past. I once woke up to the rainforest cafe in my living room bc the entire floor above me was flooding. They have no problem evicting tenants and throwing out all their furniture during snow storms, and don’t care about who rents their space. Do not rent here."
"IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Came over to visit a friend. I am genuinely so sorry for anyone who has to live here. When you first walk in, the lighting is horrendous. The floors look like the back of a restaurants kitchen. The small room they call an “exercise room” has only a lamp to light it up. The hallways are echoey and empty. The elevator is TERRIFYING and sounds like it’s about to break, and is near impossible to get to work. The apartments are extremely small, the toilet pipes are visible, the air vents are covered in grime and dust, the sink has extra faucets because some don’t work. It’s depressing and is more like a crack house. You shouldn’t even charge $500 to live here. I immediately had to write a review to warn others to PLEASE NOT MOVE HERE."
"If ZERO stars were an option, I’d choose ZERO! Over the 2 years I lived there the complex went through at least 5 different landlords or office managers. They were very RARELY in the office or available to help you. A squirrel chewed through my screen which was replace several weeks later with a felt screen that was immediately chewed through and never replaced again. A homeless person shattered my window from the outside and it wasn’t replaced until after I moved out which was 6 months later. I dealt with a taped up broken window for 6 MONTHS! My ceiling fan also went out so I was basically left with one window for air circulation in my tiny studio. The ceiling fan was ripped out of my ceiling and improperly replaced over a month later. The new ceiling fan made an awful scraping noise so again, I was unable to use it. I refused to pay rent because of the numerous things I just listed. I eventually moved out because of how poorly I was treated and how nothing was taken care of. I tried to return my keys numerous times but of course no one was in the office to receive them. Because of this I received an eviction on my record. ALSO, several other tenants had issues with cockroaches AND bed bugs. One couple eventually moved out because the bed bug problem was so bad and of course Acacia refused to get rid of them for the couple staying it wasn't their responsibility. I would be willing to take this review down if they would revoke their decision to WRONGFULLY put an eviction on my record. DO NOT LIVE HERE! You have been WARNED!"
