Reviews of The Quincy Apartments
"I have lived here for two years now and it started off great.. nice location and amenities, great views. However, the last 6 months things have really started going downhill. The elevators are never all working anymore (5-15 min wait times), the garage door gate to the “secured parking” that we pay extra for is broken, the hot tubs are broken at least 30% of the time. We’re rarely informed of issues until many, many residents have complained. But the worst part is, when I reached out to management about my concerns, her response was “we don’t charge for amenities.” I won’t be staying, and am looking into breaking my lease. It’s really too bad, it was a beautiful property."
"I regret to share a highly unsatisfactory experience during my stay at The Quincy Apartments. Several issues have significantly impacted my quality of living: Elevator Breakdowns: The elevators are persistently malfunctioning, causing extended wait times and inconvenience. Today, I waited over 20 minutes as the elevator stopped on every floor. Faulty Coffee Machines: The coffee machines consistently fail to work correctly, and residents are restricted to a limited number of cups per month, creating an unnecessary hassle. Unfair Guest Parking Policy: The guest parking policy is exorbitant, with fees usually exceeding $60 for a weekend stay. The limited (2) 50% off discounts offered per month for guest parking is not very generous for how much rent costs here and if you have any friends, good luck having them as a guest here. Non-functional Hot Tubs: The hot tubs seem to be more frequently out of order than in operation, depriving residents of promised amenities. Restrictions on Common Room Usage: The common room is subject to unreasonable restrictions, with limitations on usage after 11pm and being unavailable during rented events. I personally was kicked out on a Friday night while playing a board game with friends where the security guards made us feel like trespassers, stayed there until we left, and called over the radio to watch security tapes like we were throwing a party or disrespecting the place. Crazy you can’t even just use a table to play a board game on a Friday night in a giant room that nobody was using. This place is not worth the price whatsoever, there’s more inconveniences in my opinion than amenities. Location is about the only benefit of this place."
"I don't recommend moving here. Been living here for a few months. The entrance to the parking garage is constantly blocked by contractors and Uber drivers so you can't leave/enter and you're forced to wait. One day there was a contractor blocking the entrance and the only way to get out is to drive over a curb. When you complain about it the property manager shrugs their shoulders and say there is nothing they can do. Since moving in half of the elevators have always been down. Now the freight elevator is down too so they are forced to use the main elevators for freight. The other day they had one working elevator for the entire building. Plan on spending 10-15 min just waiting for the elevators. There seems to be no plan in place to get them fixed. So basically add on 30 minutes to your commute as that's how long it takes to get into/out of this building with one elevator and a blocked parking garage entrance. Autumn McGee, the assistant property manager, is particularly lazy. If you need her help I advise you not to waste your time. If she spent half as much effort trying to resolve issues as she does coming up with excuses as to why something is not her problem she might actually be effective at her job."
"This is the best apartment I have lived in. I had an excellent experience for the 1 year that I was here, and I would have stayed longer if I did not have to leave Denver. Leasing staff, concierge, and others were all very helpful and wonderful people. The unit I was in never had any issues and was very comfortable overall. Newer appliances, soundproof walls, and awesome mountain (+ downtown) views! The amenity deck is large and beautiful, with an amazing pool, hot tub, gym and balcony area to relax in and host guests. Pricing is fair. Security is good. Moving was simple. Accessible location downtown but still in its own little quiet pocket. And friendly neighbors. The only small issue I could complain about is the garage situation, as it became required to only park on the higher resident levels or we would have to pay the regular daily rate -- and no guest parking. Still, I really miss this place. Got really lucky as I was looking into different apartments from outside Colorado. You won't find too many other complexes of this quality and value."
"I have lived here since 2018 and can honestly say this is one of the (overall) best complexes I have ever rented at. The community is great, the staff very friendly/helpful and the atmosphere is top notch for high-end living. This is my last month and I have no major complaints. If there are ever any issues, Quincy staff are fast to remedy. Thanks Quincy!"
