"I shipped a package to an overseas address today, and the staff at the post office were very helpful, professional, and efficient."
"If you want earlier appointment than crowded city locations, and for quick, efficient passport application processing, go to this post office! This is a quaint little post office having helpful employees with an amazing attitude! I just can't believe some of the low ratings here... obviously some irate customers who don't know what they are doing, or they might reflect experiences with previous employees... I was struggling to get an appointment for my twins for passport renewal (re-application really as minors can't get theirs renewed) in and around Denver. I even tried walking in at a couple of post office locations and had an ugly experience in both, standing in line for a long time, only to be told no more walk-ins would be considered. I then realized that when we search for post offices to get an appointment, the website tracks our location and gives us nearby locations which may have appointments more than 3 weeks out. All we need to do is put in the name of the city around which you want to try - lo and behold, a lot more options open up when you try suburbs. Late last night, I got an appointment for today at the Erie post office which is 29 miles from home, but just a 35 minute drive - way better than standing in line for an hour at the Denver downtown location. The Erie post office is quaint and small, with hardly any place for people to form a line. I reached there with my kiddos 10 minutes before my appointment time. There were 5 people ahead of me of which one was for passport. I got to the front of the line in just 10 minutes. The employees attending to customers were super efficient and pleasant throughout. Alana and Jessica deserve a shout out. Jessica handled our kids' applications and both the applications were done within a matter of 10-15 minutes total. Absolutely pain-free experience! TLDR: Check out this post office if you live around Denver and want a quick appointment and want to be dealt with by very pleasant and efficient employees!"
"They lost my original adoption paperwork from my passport application and was extremely rude to me when I asked if it may have been left in the store, fell out somewhere on the truck, etc. They didn't even look, and just told me "no, why would we have it?" So, I never got them returned to me. The passport center had the return package certified on a certain date, so the post office WOULD'VE HAD IT. Then, as of LAST WEEK, my mail dashboard says I should've received the tags for my car, but I have yet to receive them. I've let them know it wasn't delivered, but I have yet to hear from them. Now that'll be another headache I have to deal with. I'm just surprised that such a small town is having this much trouble with their job."
"I figured the Erie P.O. could use a good review for a change, and I had a very pleasant experience with a young woman-employee today. Maybe they hired some new staff since the bad reviews? If so, major improvement hiring her, I'd say! Note: I went in on a Wednesday morning the week before Christmas (for comparison to other peoples' experiences)."
"We needed passports for our kids, and the woman who helped us (Jessica) was pleasant, fast, and knowledgeable. I was really impressed. She completed all of our documents, packaged them, captured and printed photos of our kids, directed us on payment, and had the whole ordeal completed in about 10 minutes (which is faster than we can take just one passport photo at Walgreens). I know a lot of people have complained about the Erie Post Office, but I've always been helped by the nicest people and have never had an issue."
