"Both Kelly and Merilee have been very kind, helpful and professional since my wife and I moved in. Our situation was rough and they made the efforts to place us into a unit that is perfect for us right away! The welcome tour was far from boring or creating second thoughts. It was a connection with Merliee as she took us around and gave us the keys. Genuine and transparent for certain. They are very diligent with making sure any situation is handled properly. The maintenance team, most familiar with Alex, is consistent and punctual with timing and solving any problems such as an oven control board. It was done by the time we got home. We love this complex, the amenities, and the staff! Thank you GLL team!"
"First of all, the apartment itself is beautiful. Also, the location is great. These are the two reasons we picked The Lofts. My only complaint with the apartment itself is that the windows are of very poor quality. They leak a tremendous amount of moisture during the winter, so much that it is necessary to put a towel in the windowsills and below the sliding door to prevent water build up and mold. The floor is coming up from moisture by the sliding balcony door. Also, the bathroom fans are inadequate, and I can’t tell that they hardly remove any moisture during a shower. But, like I said, the apartments are very nice overall, and if I were ONLY rating the apartment and location I wouldn’t hesitate to give 5 stars. Now for the bad/gross part. The property is filled with dog feces. There is very limited grass near the property. There is a small grass area on one side of the building, however, I quickly learned NOT to use this area because the amount of dog feces in this area is terrible. You can’t walk in the grass without stepping in it. They claim to have video surveillance and claim to fine people for not picking up after their pet, but it very obvious that they do no such thing. Many people take their dogs behind the apartment complex (Red Mtn side) and just let their dogs go in the rocks beside the entrance/exit doors and the carports. There is poop ALL OVER in those rocks. So, if you are one of the people that actually picks up after your pet, you’re going to have to deal with that. Which means, doing your best not to step in poop and attempting the impossible task of keeping your dogs from sniffing all this accumulated poop. It’s exhausting, gross, and nobody cleans it up or does anything about it. These are things that you will not see on your tour…so if I were you, I’d go to these areas and look around if it’s something that concerns you. Another very gross thing - someone allows their dog to urinate in the main elevator (the one that goes to the mail room) almost EVERY DAY. I have twice let management know about this and even narrowed down the time in which it typically happens, yet it still happens almost daily…nothing has been done. Additionally, when it does happen, most of the time it sits there the entire day before it is cleaned. A camera in the elevator would quickly solve this issue, but alas I didn’t even receive a response to my last email pointing out that the problem persisted. The issues regarding The Lofts all revolve around managements failure to enforce the rules. They make threats through email, but nothing changes. There are not enough cameras on property and the ones that are there likely never get looked at – maybe they are just dummy cameras. People smoke in their apartments and there are even two apartments on the L3 side that use grills on their balconies – which it clearly against the rules (and I imagine a safety issue). There have been several emails sent about grills and other items on balconies not being allowed, yet they never remove them, and nothing is done about it. It is clear to anyone who just takes a look that the grills are there (and have been for the 8 months I’ve lived here). Let me say that none of these complaints are aimed towards the cleaning ladies or maintenance personnel, who seem to work their tails off. The Lofts could be a five-star apartment complex – it has that potential. But, due to the lack of the enforcement of rules, you’ll pay a hefty price for a place where it’s basically a “free for all” when it comes to pet sanitation, and it shows (and smells). That is NOT what I expect when paying $3000/month for a 2-bedroom apartment."

Her willingness to solve issues in a timely manner and fantastic communication skills has made my leasing period very easy. Lofts are Pet friendly with lots of dogs, great views and trails nearby, and access to everything you need."
