"We hired movers from this company, and it was a great time with them. They were friendly lads and efficiently handled everything. The only time they asked for directions was when they asked them to double pack all my fragile items, but they did the rest of their own accord. In case we relocate again, we wouldn’t hesitate to hire them!"
"I worked with the Gin and Lou out of Aurora, CO. Trust this is all the same company. Christian was the guy in charge of loading and Alex was in charge of unloading. Both guys were super professional and went out of their way to make sure our things were loaded and unloaded well. We did have a surprise raise in price but this was due to using a broker, United Express, who grossly underestimated the move. Christian had to look me in the eyes and tell me my final cost was much higher. It was so frustrating but certainly not his fault. All our furniture was covered and wrapped very well. The delivery did take longer than we hoped. At some point we were told the mover would have 8 days to deliver after the delivery date we scheduled. In fact, they have 31 days. And we waited about 21 days. So that was frustrating but once they arrived Alex made sure everything was unloaded well. We had a few dings but overall, everything arrived in good shape. Renee in dispatch was very sweet and helpful. She does the best she can I’m sure and was patient with us when we were anxious to get our stuff delivered."
"Last week Eduardo from Gin & Lou delivered our boxes and furnitures. We moved with my husband from Wyoming to Florida 3 weeks ago. It was scheduled to be delivered on June 25, but we called and they told us that if we wanted they could deliver it earlier and that's how it was. Excellent and hassle-free service. All our furniture arrived super well wrapped in a nylon and everything was packed as we had left. We were afraid that something was going to be lost or broken and everything arrived in perfect condition. Thank you very much to everyone who works here and has helped us make our move hassle free. "Lied to me about service proved, stole my money, then did not deal with the issue at all or give refund. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not give them your money! Criminal company horrible customer service. The movers upon arrival stated I had over 500cu ft of material based on "visual inspection" and "personal experience." I stated I would only be paying for the 369 cu ft. I had purchased and reserved already. I told them to fit what they could in the space. They left multiple items behind including furniture, and listed total 360 cu ft of space was used on the bill of landing (lie). When I asked about the haphazard loading of the truck (see picture) they assured me it was 369 cu ft of space. When the driver arrived for drop off I was informed only 200cu ft of material was used on the truck not 369 cu ft. (see picture) So not only did I pay for 169 cu ft of space transportation and storage that was not used but multiple pieces of furniture were left behind valuing over $400. There is a 275 cu ft minimum however because I was lied to about the space used I lost the money of the material left behind ~$400 in addition the 94 cu ft of space that was not used at all which was ~$850 . So in total $1250 In summary this company owes me $850 for services not provided. When complaining to the company and spending hours of my time to get them to pick up the phone they ignored me. Screened my calls. Took no responsibility for the lies or the stolen money. Made zero effort to make this right. Horrible and criminal customer service. Pictures include the discrepancies of space between two trucks. Text from truck driver showing gin and lou were fully aware only 200cu ft of space were provided (they only paid the second driver to move 200cu ft of space not 369. This driver was the only honest person and stated he was instructed to lie to his customers about space used on his truck, this is common practice) Also they damaged my furniture. The broker refused to deal with the issue and told me to deal with Gin and Lou. You provided the fraudulent bill of landing. You employed the movers that lied about the material moved. You charged for services not provided. You are responsible. You should fix the problem. The broker hired you to provide the services. If you want to get money back from them to provide my refund by all means do so. You are liable for fraudulent business activity. Proof provided in photos. And proof in the response to the review that you are yet again lying to customers. I wrote check to gin and lou at pick up. So again another lie."
"The worst company ever!! Gin & Lou added stress to our move. My kids are in tears after they saw what happened to their things when they finally got delivered. We moved from NM to TN. Not once but twice did they tried to up charge us. To pick up our things was $1300 more than the original quote. Then to drop off they tried to up charge us $750. This is the only time anyone would ever call us. When we would try to call them they would not answer or give very vague answers. When our items were going to be picked up the dispatcher never called us. However ,she lied to the driver and said she did. The driver assured us our things would be dropped off in a week. However, our items were dropped off three weeks later. We had no furniture. We had to go buy clothes, dishes, and blankets. Anytime we had a problem the company says it is not their fault ,it is the brokers fault. They also insinuate it’s our fault They take no responsibility for anything. Lastly, they really demonstrated their “customer service “ by delivering our boxes and valuables broken or missing."
