"This company is an actual joke. They give no notice that they're delivering an order. You get a text in the morning saying your delivery is out today. So they're going to just abandon thousands in merchandise in the driveway while your out at work and you'll just have to hope you don't get robbed of all your things. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of."
"Dispatch individual was rude when we called to inquire on delivery time. Turns out, driver had a malfunction with the truck. Estes did not take responsibility in notifying clients deliveries are 2 hours behind. We understand circumstances out of the driver's hands happen. However, we expect customer service to explain the circumstance and notify us. Thirty minutes is one thing, two hours without notification is unacceptable. Clients work and altered their day to the 4 hour delivery window provided. She was rude, abrupt, and no apologies for the inconvenience."
"Why is that employees with Estes & their website states they're hiring and recruiters (Jeff) give you a hard time? You know you're highly qualified & clean but yet they're not following up with you and when you do call to follow up they give you a bad attitude. Just say we don't want to hire 'You'!"
"Yesterday they would have gotten 1 star as a delivery appointment was a no show as so many have also said. But I talked to dispatch/customer service and they were outstanding working with the driver and getting it delivered today. Not perfect but appreciate the effort."
"Beginning with a couple bright spots -- Appliance appears to have been delivered without damage and communication from Christine in the office was appreciated. Huge negatives: Online tracking on the day of delivery is meaningless and completely inaccurate and a source of nothing more than a waste of time when you must rely on others to be there at the time of delivery. Estimated delivery was first listed at 11:18 a.m. with 4 stops ahead of me. Went down to 3, then 2, then 1, then back up to 2 again, then Next, then 1 again, then Next again. The delivery driver finally arrived at 1:49 p.m., 2.5 hours after the initial estimated delivery time. My contractor, who had several hours of his time wasted because of the inaccurate information provided, explained his frustration to the delivery driver, Ross, but the driver was unapologetic, claiming he's just the driver and has nothing to do with that. When I attempted to explain what happened, the driver cut me off and said to me, "I don't care." This was a very unpleasant interaction all around, and the only negative "delivery" experience I've ever had. Another negative was that the driver wouldn't take the pallets that had to be detached from the appliance because the driver dropped the appliance onto the street and it then had to be moved to the house separately with my personal hand truck. My suggestion would be to turn off the day-of-delivery online tracking if it cannot communicate with the customer accurately. Another suggestion would be for drivers to allow customers to express frustration to the driver when things don't go as anticipated based on the information provided to them, the customers. And definitely don't say, "I don't care." And I can say without any doubt whatsoever, this driver did not care at all in that moment. Maybe he was having a bad day, I don't know, but it was very unpleasant. I do appreciate the appliance seemingly appearing at this point to have been delivered without damage, but I could only give the total experience one star based upon the extremely flawed online delivery information provided and the interaction with the delivery driver. ***I did have a very good delivery experience with Estes last year, where I had even tipped the driver! But unfortunately, that has now been severely overshadowed by this most recent experience."
