"I had a terrible experience working with Denver Moving and recommend anyone to look for alternatives instead. This was easily the worst experience I have had with any vendor whatsoever. I started working with Denver Moving a few months ago and at first they were extremely communicative. They provided a binding quote that was a little bit more than I wanted to pay for the move (inter-state from Denver to Los Angeles) but I was willing to do it because of the positive reviews I had seen and the good experience with the quote process. However, at the time of the move, they packed all my things and then provided a bill that was $1,000 more than what the "binding" quote was stated at, tacking on fees for random things (like charging an extra $150 dollars for living on the third floor even though I made that very clear when working in the quote process). Since all my stuff was packed and I was on a tight deadline with the move, I reluctantly moved forward anyway. Once I got to my new apartment, I received a date for the movers to arrive that they missed with no communication until I reached out. I then reached out for a new date which they provided. I cleared my day to accommodate them and their movers arrived that afternoon but realized they could not make the delivery because another move was blocking my furniture in their truck. They left with the intent of hopefully making that move and then coming back that evening but then again did not communicate until I reached out, then saying they couldn't make the move at all that day. I then reached out for a new delivery date and was provided 2 different ones over text and over phone. The first one was again missed with no communication and the next one my stuff finally arrived but the movers placed everything into the living room instead of the rooms I instructed and then talked me through the contents (of which several were damaged) and explained I should reach out to the company to file a claim. I then reached out to the company to file a claim for the chair, desk, dining table, PC, and TV that were damaged (all of which were packed by their movers and I paid extra packaging fees for). After a long back and forth (in which I requested several times for copies of documents be sent to me and they, after long delay, sent me other customers' data instead), they sent me to a 3rd party claims service (CSI Pros) that has also been dreadful to work with. They only paid the minimum (60 cents per pound for each damaged item) and only for things with external damage so my total furniture that was damaged (acquired for easily over $5k) was refunded for less than $150 (less than I was charged for just the materials they used to pack it all with). There was no refund offered for the several errors in communication on timing, the upcharge on the "binding" quote, or the general difficulty in the entire process. I would not recommend ever working with this company. Doing so would put you at huge risk for damages to your property, incredibly poor customer service, and a series of headaches over a 4 month long period to settle for less than 5% of your money back."
"I was excited to work with a local company for my move and made sure to talk through everything before signing the contract. I double checked that long hallways and elevators were covered and John said that the fee was already embedded in the estimate. Moving day comes and I was charged an extra $500 for these fees that I was told would be cover. In total, I ended up paying over $1k more than the estimate on a pretty basic 1 bedroom move. I was told by the movers that if they moved my boxers to the upstairs of my new home, I would be charged extra so I ended up having them put everything in my dining room since I was already being charged so many extra fees. A few pieces of furniture were broken in the move (I’ve never had this happen) and when I contacted Denver Moving I haven’t heard back. Since 7/19 I’ve reached out three times to ask about how the extra fees and the broken furniture and haven’t heard back. The movers also took my fob to use while moving things out of my apartment and didn’t return it- this will be a $50 fee I have to pay. Overall, I wish I could recommend this moving company but the fact is they haven’t responded to three emails concerning questions I had about fees (with photo proof of the agreement beforehand) and still haven’t responded about the broken furniture which should have been covered under their insurance."
"They were extremely friendly, experienced and insightful. They showed up on schedule. 5 stars. Also, they were transparent with their costs. I would definitely hire them again."
"They were fantastic. We came in under the estimate and nothing was broken or scratched! We will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them."
"They did not disappoint. They were professional and they took care of everything. All my belongings were wrapped and carefully moved. Their price seemed quite reasonable."
