Reviews of Worldwide northAmerican Moving Company
"Complete fiasco from the Worldwide North American Van Line group out of Loveland Colorado. Darlene the Coordinator has not been much help and her manager Scott is unwilling to return phone calls. . Twe weeks after a late delivery still have unassembled box spring and mattress,, two sofas that are not usable or assembled, an electric recliner without a power pack they lost, broken lamp, broken BBQ grill. ALL I get is file a claim, that's going well as I have a house with unusable items. I'll keep you posted on the claim. Customer service and what they promise does not happen. Had to correct their name from earlier review. Hope they can respond to this"
"Worst experience of our lives. We’ve moved multiple times and this was the worst. Items were extremely damaged (chunks of wood off expensive furniture) and some expensive items were lost or stolen. A large amount were not even inventoried so we couldn’t make claims. Management refused to talk with us or call us back after multiple attempts. We were lied to multiple times about the whereabouts of our belongings. The packers arrived with not enough people, materials or time to pack us correctly. They brought the wrong type of trailer and trailer size to move across state lines. They took 15 days to deliver our belongings and had to beg a driver to bring them who tried to refuse it because the trailer was not a legal trailer to cross state lines. We are lucky we didn’t lose everything. Do not use these people unless you what the worst experience ever in every single way possible."
"Our move from Denver to Las Vegas required storage of our items. We were quoted 3 prices, one for the local move to storage, the monthly storage rent and the price to move from Denver to Las Vegas. Our new home took longer than expected to be built so rather than 2-3 months of storage, we had to store for 5 months. When we were ready for our shipment, they raised the "Price Locked" interstate move by 30%!!! I have opened a FMCSA complaint about this. Our shipment arrived late, with very little communication. Apparently the front office has no idea what the loaders and truckers are actually doing. Our shipment arrived and some pieces were damaged, but my experience is this always happens. But many large furniture pieces are missing! A couch, 5 easy chairs, patio furniture, a head board, dining room table and boxes. Again, the front office knew nothing about the partial shipment. It's been 3 weeks since we received the partial shipment and nobody has been able to provide a date... well actually they do. It's always Mañana!"
"We moved from Denver to Charleston, SC and everything about this move went wrong. We received quotes from 4 movers (all national carriers) We went with Worldwide because of their sales person, Mary, seemed very knowledgeable about our items and their price was competitive. We had a full package - packing, loading, moving, unloading. First - the packers NEVER showed up. We were told they would be there at 830 and when no one arrived by 10 am, we contacted WW and they had no idea what was going on, our move "coordinator," Debbie - was OFF that day! and had left no instructions. When the crew finally showed at 1230 - they did the WORST job - no paper in boxes - a stand mixer in a box with a piece of china. The loading team seemed fine, although, we should have been scheduled as a two day load, they were at our home until midnight. Then, came our delivery - what a hot mess. We moved to Charleston downtown - tight roads, etc. The driver arrived after noon and refused to come in to our driveway until our neighbor moved his golf cart - which was not even in our driveway. So, we had to wait one more day (we are over 7 days after loading day at this point). In the end, we had broken and damaged items that could have been avoided and a driver who wanted to blame us for everything. I would STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND anyone use this company."
"Worldwide Moving Systems LLC was the prime contractor for the move for our neighbors on May 18, 2017. Either one their drivers or one of their subcontractor drivers impacted and broke a retaining wall on my property during this move. When I came home around 4pm that day, I saw one of their trucks having a difficult time turning around in my driveway and then immediately saw the damage to the wall. I approached the driver he said he saw the other driver hit the wall. Both my neighbor and I called and emailed World Wide Moving Systems and they said another driver at their subcontractors, Dunmar Local Dispatch, and Agent for Allied Van Lines, did the damage. When I spoke with Dunmar Local Dispatch they said they saw the other driver do the damage. I would expect the prime contractor, Worldwide Moving Systems LLC, to take responsibility, but they are not. I requested that a response on how Worldwide Moving Systems planned to remedy this incident, however all I have received is a “I did not get your email” and here is the number to call for the other driver. Both drivers and companies are denying responsibility, so now we need file a criminal complaint to the Boulder police department for a hit and run involving property damage, which is a class 2 misdemeanor with a sentence of a minimum of a year in prison and a $1000 fine. Do not use Worldwide Moving Systems, and if you neighbors are moving, don’t let them move with them either!"
