"Sent an elderly disabled family member to apply. The gentleman there was inept and very rude. And was speaking about religion which was inappropriate and discriminatory. I filed a complaint."

"Cortez Apartments are low maintenance, and hostile. When we first moved in, their were couple of rude tenants. The apartment, we rent was really worn down. The walls, closet were damaged, and were poorly repaired. Their were stickers that were painted over. Neighbors were either playing music loud and banging on the walls on the opposite side of us, pasted the cerfew. Neighbor down stairs complains about every little thing, even a dirty staircase. When it wasn't our job to maintenance the complex. We never had rent assistance even when rent went up, we always paid in full. Tenets smoke close to the apartments, to the point our apartment stunk like cigarettes, not good for my children."

"The landlord here is really crazy when I lived there she literally took a picture of my trash bag and said it was trash ummm duh"

"Not a horrible place to start out at. What's funny is my parents started out in Cortez apartments with my oldest brother who is 30. The passing years definitely show. But for the price and assistance with rent it's decent."
