Golden Gate Petro/Krispy Krunchy Chicken

"Wife used my credit card to get $10 worth of gas, got charged $175. When I called to get clarification I was told " don't worry our pump just does that, it automatically takes $100 out to balance or something. It will go back on your card in a few days." #1 why on earth would that be the case, you make a habit of overcharging your customers by $165? #2 if it that were the case, what about the additional $65 on top of the $100 that just automatically gets over charged? So many questions, one answer. I will never be going back to this gas station."

"The usual people I deal with here over the last 6 months were not in this morning and I definitely experienced the difference in service, attitude towards the customer, and an unwillingness to simply help someone in need. I do not know if it because I'm black but whoever was in the back office making all decisions on the matter would not budge an inch to assist a patron in need. (Side note, the usual lady and every other location in town I've done business with have been exceedingly welcoming and personable during y stay here. So this is my first negative experience in this city in half a year9. I simply needed help grabbing my keys through my backdoor window with a stick. I ended up utilizing my arm through the bars (it is a secure vehicle), which was beyond physically brutal and would have taken all but ten seconds if I could have simply borrowed a broom or cane. One lady was at least nice enough to let me use her phone to attempt to have a lock smith come out but for 91 dollars I just tried again myself. Yes it was my own mistake and I accept that, but again whoever was calling the shots from the back did not display the genuine, kind, and sincere personality I've come to know from this city. Their help would have had zero risks to the establishment, it's workers, or patrons, yet she would not even give me the time of day to simply hook my jacket with my keys and turned a 1 minute situation into 15. The guy at the register at least tried showing concern for a patron in need, but the lady in the back just rather I experience sheer embarrassment from the situation. A fellow patron tried to assist just as I was able to grab my keys, showing that genuine Montrose Colorado mentality I've become familiar with. But that lady in the back was definitely showing that Boulder/Denver "GTFO" mentality we all know too well. In my experiences, if it is company policy, the manager comes out to explain that to show sincerity. This lady just sat in the back, saw me asking for help through the door and neeeeever came to speak to me at all despite me being just ten feet away. My company (building the new hospital down the road) will be taking our business elsewhere."
