"Jennifer was Very rude and unprofessional. They tried billing me $600 for incomplete tax return and the numbers where so far off it seems like a scam. When I went to call and get a clear explanation Jennifer was very short, irritable and very over spoken and quickly hung up on me in middle of conversation. Blows my mind how you can run a business treating people with such attitude."

"My experience with CS & Company did not meet expectations. Overall, I feel like I received subpar service and was overcharged. When the bill was questioned, CS & Company refused to provide a detailed invoice which I have never encountered with any other business. Definitely leaving this interaction feeling unsettled and will look elsewhere for future tax services. Hopefully this is an exception for CS and other folks are happier with their service. Some detail below if it helps: - Early in the year I was charged for a tax withholding analysis (provided my many places in town as a part of processing your return). Originally was disappointed in the level of service vs. cost here as this “analysis” was basically a 10 minute conversation which seemed like no prior research had been dedicated to. Overall, I made no changes based on this “analysis” and as it turned out based on my return, the recommendations here were not valid at all. - Originally quoted for an individual tax return with a couple states as a new client. Even at the low end of the estimate, this still represented a much larger cost than other places in town, but I stuck with CS since I wasn’t necessarily looking for the cheapest option around and wanted high quality. - Final straw, my name was misspelled on the final tax forms (thankfully I caught this before they were submitted) and address was wrong in the paperwork. Hoping that that there are no other issues I didn’t catch here… Pretty clear that there is not a high level of quality here and certainly nothing that warrants the sky high costs. End result: I ended up being charged about double what most places in town quoted and about double what my returns had cost in recent years. The quality of work here was suspect and as mentioned above, repeated attempts to get a detailed invoice were denied. Asking questions to CS around what happened here was not particularly constructive and a little insulting in that it was insinuated that I must have misspelled my own name in my intake forms to cause the name issue… I half expect a bill for the “time” related to responding to my invoice questions…. hopefully that’s a joke."
