"Apex is now running where Phases Accounting used to be. I wouldn't give them 1 star if I had the chance. I dropped off my paperwork, almost 2 mo later my paperwork is still sitting there. I don't get calls back as promised or updates. They tell me every thing is just all over the place which makes me think maybe my paperwork is lost. At this point I called today to pick up my paperwork and they need an entire evening and day to find it before I pick up. Im going elsewhere with hopes they have all my documentation"

"I would give them ZERO Stars if I could. Now renamed APEX Accounting & Tax Services, was Phases Accounting & Tax Services is a NOT a company you should feel comfortable having your personal information. I placed my business and personal tax needs in their hands believing I was working with Professionals. But that all changed with the NEW OWNERSHIP. I started getting letters over the last 3 months from the IRS with penalties and interest stating that my tax return had errors and unreported income. These letters and corrections have cost me so much money. Not to mention the time and frustration of trying to get a person to respond to your requests over there. I have had unanswered phone messages, unanswered emails, unreturned phone calls. I have them do the taxes for my parents who I am the primary care givers for as well as my son. I gave them the tax info over a month ago with questions that have never been answered. I have sent them the letters from the IRS that I have received since the NEW OWNERSHIP started doing my payroll and taxes and have gotten ZERO RESPONSE. There has been one consistent employee that has been easy to work with, however she does not do tax preparation, so this is not on her. This is not a company I would feel comfortable working with ever again and will never have them do ANYTHING for my family ever again."

I placed my personal tax needs in their hands believing I was working with Professionals as I had used Debbie and Phases for many years. But then something has changed. I turned my tax paperwork in over a month ago with questions that have never been answered. Phone calls never returned. Emails never responded to. Since changing to Apex my tax preparer has changed 3 times in 3 months due to their office turnover. There has been one consistent employee that has been easy to work with, however she does not do tax preparation so this is not on her. This is not a company I would feel comfortable working with ever again."

"Do not use this company! There new name is Apex Accounting. I have been a client for over a decade. The original owner sold this business in 2023. I have had 2 technicians leave the company before completing my taxes. I dropped my business taxes off 22 Jan 2024 they are due in 4 days and still not even in draft stage. They promised to get me a draft by end of day 15 Feb for another CPA firm that is doing tax related work for me, this has not happened. They do not return my phone calls or answer my e-mail. I anticipate I will be paying penalties and interest."

"Phases Accounting, as of a year ago, is under new ownership. I never reviewed Phases under the previous owner but would like to give her and her team 5 stars today. Currently, under the new owner I give them 1 star. I just found out in February 2024 that they were under new owners. I sent them a simple task that the previous Phases always took care of before doing the rest of my tax work. I also needed some work done to correct an IRS problem from a previous tax year. All I got was promises when I went into the office to see why nothing was done. Unanswered email and calls are the norm. Nothing getting done is the norm. That is my experience. I finally asked for my deposit back and told them we were done. Noting the reviews here on Google Maps, it seems my experience is not unique. The previous Phases has great reviews. The new Phases had one star reviews. My personal advice, if you are looking for a company for financial services, take this one off the list. I really don't see how they can pay rent running a business like they are running it. This is my experience only. They may cater to some businesses at the expense of other customers. Bad experience all around and I am sorry to see the old Phases is gone. THEY were great."
