"Eugene has been doing our taxes for year always speedy and friendly service. Our non profit started using his service for our 990 and we are very pleased with his services."
"Been with Eugene for 16 plus years! My parents for umpteenth years before then! Amazing, quick, affordable service. I'm thankful his daughter is taking over because I wouldn't know what to do when he officially retires!!"
"My husband had some complications with his taxes a few years ago. Everything was straightened out thanks to Eugene, we have received excellent service."
"Do not use this firm. They completed a faulty return for me and and upon further questions from the IRS, they have barely given more than a few words reply with no direction, assistance, or clarity. Stay away from this group."
"My CPA Vanessa had a personal matter in the middle of tax season and was unable to finish my business taxes for me. Things happen, and I understand. Unfortunately I only found out my taxes weren't going to get filed through a friend of a friend. I received ZERO phone calls or any attempt to contact me from this company alerting me of this situation. I had to call them multiple times to find out that my account had all but been forgotten about. It took me multiple calls and messages left to even get someone to call me back. Once I was finally able to get someone on the phone with me, they just ended up telling me I should probably come and pick up all my business documents and go find another CPA for this (2018) filing. This occurred around April 1st, giving me a total of 15 days to both find a new CPA that wasn't already swamped, and get everything filed on time. I went in to pick up all my stuff, and I expressed to them that I was shocked how they were handling the situation. Not making calls to clients, not sending any emails, not offering to file extensions for people, etc... Only after I mentioned that, they offered to file an extension, if I wanted to wait until after April 15th to sit down with Eugene to get my taxes filed. I accepted, as I did not want to go through the hassle of finding another CPA only 15 days before filings were due. My meeting with Eugene came and went. He literally could not have cared less about me. Came out of his office 20 minutes late for our appointment, I stood up and offered a handshake, and he replied by pointing into his office while saying "let's see what we've got." All the ground work had already been laid in their system by Vanessa at that point, and I was literally just there to answer some minor questions and sign what needed to be signed. Meeting was now over, stood up and offered my hand again, and again, no handshake. Fast forward two weeks later, they need me to come in and sign one final piece of paperwork. It was only then they blindsided me with nearly $1000 in invoices for their "services" they provided me with. I only spent a total of two hours in that office... I can imagine there was some work that was put in while I was not present, but after all that had transpired up to this point, I was shocked that they would give me invoices for that amount. Fast forward again to end of June, I am receiving calls from Adam's County about a particular form that I needed to file with them in relation to my taxes. This is something that I provided to Vanessa at the time I was working with her, but this is one of the many things that must have fallen through the cracks when she disappeared. Again, here I am making MULTIPLE phone calls to this CPA, trying to get someone to call me back and explain this to me, and nothing.... no return calls. No attention to me as a client. Vanessa was great while she was there, but it is my understanding that she is no longer a part of this office. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for an experienced CPA. This was my first year of filing business taxes and I literally could not have had a worse experience. From the lack of communication, the lack of knowledge or attentiveness of the secretaries that answer the phones, to the lack of respect by the owner of the business himself. All in all a very poor experience. Maybe this review will trigger a return phone call finally. One can only hope."
