"Had really bad experience for calling for general questions/ book an appointment. App said there are 30 min appointments for my tax return for virtual appointments. I called and advised I wanted a 30 min appointment this coming Thursday as I seen on the app that was some available but had some other questions along with that. Mandy was very unprofessional, argumentative, and she even called me rude. She said we don’t do 30 minute appointments. I said the app showed that which is odd, maybe need to reach out to your office about it as I said joking. She was way too serious and said well like I said we don’t and I’m not going to argue with you. I said I’m not arguing as I’m just saying what I seen on the app, the facts ma’am. She has a horrible tone and said you don’t need to be rude then hung up. Complained with HR Block corporate. They even got on the line with Mandy as she expressed how rude I was to the lady when we wanted to make sure my appointment was set/ had some general tax questions for my appointment. Glad I had HR Block Corporate on the line as they have recorded lines as they will be able to hear how Mandy mistreated me, was very unprofessional, as she even said that she had witnesses hearing me that could write a statement on how rude I was. I don’t appreciate Mandy allowing others to hear my phone call that are customers. Not professional at all. Taxes are a private business matter. Also there are sensitive information that could have been provided on the phone such as DOB, SSN, address, or even just my phone number or my name. I may look into a different tax service now as I don’t appreciate Mandy doing Business like this as she took the 30 min appointments very personal. I am very sorry if you thought I was rude. I hope everything is ok with your personal life."
