"I came to Jorge with my 2022 tax return, letting him know that I had to finish my crypto tax calculation before filing. I sent him everything except for the crypto numbers and when I met with him, he told me he had already done my return. I reminded him that I still needed to finish the crypto calculations and that we'd have to add those in. He asked me to pay for the work he had done so far, which I did. When I got the crypto information, he told me he had finished the return so I came in to pick it up. I noticed he had forgotten to include the largest portion of my taxable income. He also told me that my 8949 form was too many pages to print and told me I would have to print it myself. I asked if he could send it as a PDF and e-file it and he said that e-filing would take a long time and he would charge me way more if he had to e-file. So he added back in the income that he had forgotten, printed the rest of my return, and sent me on my way with my return in an envelope addressed to the IRS. When I got home, I looked through the return only to find that he had failed to include the Schedule 1 income form that was an important part of my return. At this point, I no longer trusted that he was capable of doing a correct return and hired someone else. I expressed my disappointment at the job he had done and asked for a full or partial refund. He said that the fact that the schedule 1 was not included "wasn't on him." Not sure how that's possible since he gave me a return in an envelope to mail to the IRS that was missing crucial documents. He told me he would not refund me anything and that he should have charged me more. So in summary, I never received a fully complete return, there was no accountability or willingness to make right the many mistakes that were made, and I don't recommend this service."
